Hello everyone today we dive into a new game that recently released called Echoes of Elysium but first massive thank you to Loric Games and Snail Games for sending me a copy its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in.
So echoes of elysium takes place in Greek mythology your people have disappeared and there’s no one left the gods have cut off access to your realm and you wake up alone what could be the last survivor of your people great story concept adds plenty of mystery and definitely makes me question what happened to my people after the cut scene of the game telling you all this your dropped into the game.
And when I mean dropped I do mean literally dropped theres no tutorial which for a game that calls itself a survival crafter game there should definitely be a tutorial I dont mind learning some stuff but the fact im going in blind and have to learn everything huge issue for me and not a fan of it honestly.
Whatever spirit or goddess finds you tells you your still being hunter to craft a ship and find the closest light house ok cool so you can give me a mission but you cant tell me how to build or anything nope I dont like that one bit and the area you start in is small and barely has any resources to farm now mind you that there’s resources floating in bubbles all around you that you can grab but the game gives you no info on how to do that it doesn’t even offer you a movement tutorial and you need one considering you have some mythical jet pack to fly around with that honestly dies faster then just flying with wings.
And this was all in the first 5 minutes of the game I know not off to a great start but let’s continue as I progress and figured stuff out I manage to expand my ship with much annoyance and find said light house where I have to fight a robot with no weapon cause I dont have the right materials to make one go figure but that robot went down and I had a small base of operations after which I looked around and admired the area and surrounding which let’s be honest its a beautiful game it really is the reason you need a ship and jetpack is cause during the cutscene it tells you how all the islands started floating away and now there in the sky so your a mythical flying pirate captain lmao (laughing my ass off) which is pretty cool.
Visually the game is stunning the ship doesn’t look half bad after you get it to a good enough size but there’s a lot to craft and learn if you wanna be viable after trying it by myself for a bit I jumped on with a friend who wasnt having a great play time as he was finding bugs left and right many which the devs already know of and are working fast on fixing which huge shout out to the devs for being on top of there game.
Now for multiplayer I had a blast playing with my friend I didnt experience as many problems as he did but the ones we experienced together are a bit game breaking for example there’s the issue with npc respawns happening almost immediately after there killed as well as one of the robot birds despawning right as there about to be killed now the devs know about these issues there discord has been active non stop with people reporting bugs and the devs talking about it the game has gotten a big update to help and the devs are still hard at work my experience aside this game is worth it and being part of the journey and the fix makes me feel good about myself as a gamer and I know these devs appreciate all the feed back and help there getting the constant updates to fix stuff shows that even though they may have missed stuff during development doesn’t mean there moving on there fixing everything and showing us gamers they mean business.
This game is in early access you can wait a bit for more updates or pick it up and help the devs out on there journey either way echoes of elysium is a fun game with awesome crafting and some intense flying thank you for stopping by take care and game on.

Innovative New Action RPG Genigods: Nezha brings Chinese Myth to Life on PlayStation 5 and PC
From Genigods Lab, the team behind Sony-published hit My Hero Academia, comes an action role-playing game starring Nezha—a legendary Chinese rebel deity— launching 2028
Suzhou, China – 29th January, 2026: Genigods Lab has today revealed their brand new single-player action role-playing game ‘Genigods: Nezha’, built in Unreal Engine 5, optimised for PlayStation 5 in collaboration with Sony, and heading to PC and PlayStation 5 platforms in 2028.

Get your first look at Genigods: Nezha in the new gameplay reveal video here: https://youtu.be/M5mZseIFDmc
Genigods: Nezha is a premium, pay upfront, hardcore action role-playing game set against the chaotic backdrop of ancient Chinese genesis mythology. You are the Spirit Pearl—the very first spark of life forged by Nüwa, the Goddess of Life, from the essence of earth, water, and fire.
In this epic journey, you will evolve from a celestial artifact into the first human, a woman crafted from water and clay, before eventually being reborn as the legendary Nezha. Your journey is shared by legendary heroes: Yi, the sun-feller, and Yu, the flood-tamer. Beside you also dwells the Heart of Sacred Water—Nüwa’s sentient gift that grows with you, serving as your vital companion to solve ancient puzzles, conquer the toughest trials and learn the dark truth behind this new world.
Genigods Lab’s 100-person team previously made the critically and commercially acclaimed My Hero Academia mobile game published by Sony Crunchyroll. The team also developed the popular Condor Heroes series for mobile platforms, which recently surpassed over 10 million downloads worldwide.
“Our mission is to ignite the epic celestial battles of Chinese mythology. In Genigods: Nezha, every skill you cast, every choice you make, writes a new line in an ancient epic—forged in your image,” explained Erdi Yao, co-founder and Head of Creative & Design at Genigods Lab. “Players will wield the heart of creation, soar between realms, awaken the three-headed and eight-armed form, and step onto the primordial battlefield to mend the shattered heavens. This is not about hearing a story; it is about etching your name into its very fabric,” he added.
For a full feature breakdown of this exciting new story-driven adventure, please see below:
- Celestial Combat
Experience the dynamic scale of Chinese mythic warfare, where battle flows seamlessly between Heaven and Earth. Switch seamlessly between ground and aerial combat utilising dual stances, awaken temporary mythic abilities to perform devastating combos and mid-air strikes, and combine treasures discovered in the game world to create unique skills. - Colossal Gods and the Sun Tree
Built with Unreal Engine 5 and optimized for Playstation, Genigods: Nezha delivers a one-of-a-kind Chinese-style colossal adventure: climb ancient gods towering like mountains and fight by traversing the contours of their bodies. With the help of the giant Kuafu, scale the Sun Tree that bridges mortal and celestial realms, then draw your bow to extinguish The Nine Suns and end the scorching catastrophe. - Water Philosophy & Jeet Kune Do Mechanics
Genigods: Nezha’s combat is inspired by Bruce Lee’s iconic ‘Be Water’ philosophy through the Divine Water within Nezha. Her techniques adapt the essence of Jeet Kune Do. Condense water into a piercing One-Inch Flash for armor-breaking blows, or unleash water all at once, as a sweeping Dragon’s Kick to tackle crowds of enemies at once. This system encourages players to master a defensive, reactive style of combat— and requires perfect timing to parry and counter with the adaptable precision of water itself.

The Defiant Announced
4Divinity Announces The Defiant
A Story-Driven WWII FPS Portraying the Fire and Fury of the Mysterious Eastern Battlefield.
For decades, World War II games have returned to the same frontlines – the beaches of Normandy, the deserts of North Africa, the cities of Western Europe. Entire wars have been retold through familiar lenses.
But World War II was larger than that.
Announced today by publisher 4Divinity, a publishing label of GCL Global Holdings [NASDAQ: GCL] and developer Hoothanes, The Defiant is a story-driven first-person shooter set in the Asian theatre of World War II, placing players in the midst of China’s War of Resistance against Japan, a vast, brutal conflict that cost the lives of countless Chinese soldiers and civilians, yet has remained largely unexplored in games. The Defiant aims to reframe how the FPS genre approaches history, offering a perspective rarely seen in interactive entertainment.
The Defiant is set to launch for PC via Steam and consoles.
“The latest trailer for The Defiant captures exactly what 4Divinity represents,” said Sebastian Toke, Group CEO of GCL. “We are building a portfolio of bold, story-driven games that bring fresh perspectives to familiar genres. The Defiant shines a light on an important and rarely explored chapter of World War II, delivering a cinematic, authentic experience that reflects our commitment to supporting ambitious creators and meaningful storytelling.”
The latest trailer, released today, offers an early glimpse at the game’s locations, combat, and overall tone, revealing an experience shaped not only by spectacle but by history and cultural identity.

Watch the latest trailer for The Defiant here
Download the press kit here
At its core, The Defiant delivers a cinematic narrative experience. The game unfolds across occupied villages, frozen forests, fortified supply routes, and enemy-controlled urban zones, where every environment is shaped by the realities of guerrilla warfare and survival behind enemy lines.
The combat reflects the nature of the conflict itself. Missions shift fluidly between stealth infiltration, close-quarters firefights, sniping, urban espionage, code-breaking operations, vehicular combat, and sudden large-scale assaults. There are no clear frontlines here, only tension, unpredictability, and moments where careful strategy can be as effective as combat.
Built in Unreal Engine 5 by a veteran team of filmmakers and game developers, The Defiant adopts a restrained yet authentic, human-centred approach to storytelling. The studio’s goal is not only to depict combat, but to convey the emotional weight of resistance and people fighting for survival, identity, and homeland.
Weapons in The Defiant are treated as historical artefacts, not just tools. Players will wield a wide range of firearms rooted in China’s modern wartime history, including the Hanyang Type 88, Mauser C96, Bergmann submachine gun and more. Each weapon is recreated with attention to its origin and role, carrying with it the memory of the era it represents.
The Defiant is set to launch on PC via Steam and consoles. Wishlist now on Steam.
Diablo Veterans Unveil Darkhaven: A Living ARPG World Shaped by Players

Moon Beast Productions launches Steam page and announces upcoming Kickstarter
California, USA – January 29th, 2026 — Moon Beast Productions, an independent studio founded by Diablo veterans Philip Shenk, Peter Hu, and Erich Schaefer, today announced Darkhaven, a next-generation action RPG that returns to the genre’s roots while pushing it forward with a fully dynamic, persistent world. Alongside the announcement, Moon Beast has launched the game’s Steam page and revealed plans for an upcoming Kickstarter campaign, with a Kickstarter coming soon page inviting the ARPG community to help bring the project to Early Access. Darkhaven is a dark fantasy isometric ARPG set in the aftermath of a great and final collapse of civilization. Ancient empires have fallen, their ruins reclaimed by wilderness, monsters, and predatory supernatural forces. Players are heirs to a legacy of power that is the last hope for this dying world. As eldritch evil worms its way into the world to feed on its remains, it falls to these few to bring the land back from the brink of death.
Designed for solo play, cooperative adventures, and high-stakes PvP-enabled realms, Darkhaven is set in a procedurally generated, fully dynamic, and persistent world. Terrain and structures are deformable and buildable, allowing players to dig through earth, tunnel through dungeon walls, drain lakes to uncover buried ruins, redirect lava flows to reshape battlefields, or rebuild shattered fortresses. Seasons change, weather alters combat and traversal, and world-altering events leave permanent scars. Every action contributes to a shared, evolving history. Combat in Darkhaven enhances the balance between stat progression, build choice, and player skill. Heroes can jump, climb, swim, dash, and traverse the world freely, introducing a new layer of action and skill rarely seen in the genre. Success is not just a function of stats, but of movement, timing, and terrain awareness, dramatically expanding the “action” at the heart of action RPGs. “From the very beginning, we wanted Darkhaven to feel good to play,” said Erich Schaefer, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer. “Movement is fun. Being able to jump over attacks, climb cliffs, dash out of danger, or swim across a lake that may or may not be infested with riverfangs changes how combat feels in this kind of game. It’s not just about numbers fighting numbers anymore. It’s much more engaging. For me, it becomes more about skill, finding flow, and making smart decisions in the moment. I’ve never had more fun making and playing an ARPG.”
![]() |
The game’s itemization and progression philosophy draws heavily on the originators of the ARPG genre, Diablo and Diablo II. Rejecting the incrementalism common in many modern titles, Darkhaven embraces bold, expressive loot – items that feel powerful, sometimes surprisingly so, and capable of redefining builds rather than merely optimizing them. “Great itemization is about possibility,” said Peter Hu, Co-Founder and President. “In Darkhaven, we want items that open doors, gear that makes you stop and rethink your build, your strategy, or even how you play the game. Finding something powerful should be exciting and inspiring, not something that gets smoothed out into tiny percentage gains.” Moon Beast Productions brings together decades of experience across genre-defining titles, including Diablo, Diablo II, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, Diablo III, Hellgate: London, Torchlight, Torchlight II, Nox, and Marvel Heroes Online. “We’re incredibly excited to finally reveal Darkhaven and open its Steam page,” said Philip Shenk, CEO and Co-Founder. “This project represents everything we’ve learned about ARPGs over the last two decades, and what becomes possible when those ideas are combined with modern technology. We’re building a world that remembers what you’ve done, bears the scars of your victories and failures, and tells stories that only your playthrough can create. With the community’s support, we’re ready to bring Darkhaven to Early Access, which will allow us to continue to build the game into the incredible experience we all want it to be.” Players can follow Darkhaven’s Kickstarter campaign now and wishlist the game on Steam. There will also be a playable demo available alongside the Kickstarter when it goes live.

Mini Worlds Dioramas News
[January 29, 2026] Mini Worlds Dioramas, a cozy sandbox building game from developer Paidotribo, launched a playable demo today on Steam, inviting players to slow down and create detailed miniature dioramas piece by piece. Published in partnership with indie.io, the demo offers a hands-on introduction to a game built around creativity, atmosphere, and the simple joy of world-building.

Unlike traditional building or simulation games, Mini Worlds Dioramas isn’t about achieving objectives, managing resources, or optimizing systems. Instead, it focuses on the simple joy of creating and personalizing a tiny world. Players freely drag and drop buildings, props, vegetation, people, animals, resize and reposition elements, and experiment without restriction. With no pressure to “play correctly,” the experience encourages players to explore, decorate, and iterate until their miniature world feels just right.
The demo begins with a guided tutorial that walks players through building their first tiny world, introducing the game’s intuitive tools and systems. The featured theme in the demo is the Far West, where players can construct cozy frontier-inspired dioramas, populate them with charming details like horses and cats, and fine-tune the atmosphere by adjusting lighting, environmental settings, and music.
Players can switch into Flight Mode, a cinematic free-camera view that allows them to smoothly fly through their creation. This mode encourages players to slow down, admire their work from new angles, and fully experience the tiny world they’ve built.
With multiple themed settings planned for the full release, the demo offers a focused look at the heart of Mini Worlds Dioramas, a relaxed, decorative sandbox built around creativity rather than challenge. The Mini Worlds Dioramas demo is available now on Steam. Players can follow along with development by wishlisting and following the game on Steam, and by keeping up with updates from the developer on X/Twitter and TikTok.

Adaptory
Hey guys today I wanna talk to you about Adaptory but first huge thanks to Stormcloak games and indie.io for sending me a copy its greatly appreciated.
Now i love colony sim games ive played a bunch over my years but ive never played one as punishing as Adaptory. This game is clearly inspired by oxygen not included even tho i never played it im sure its easier then this.
So the game opens up with you picking the first 4 people which im assuming you get more as you progress you load in and you crash land on an alien planet your ship is a mess and you gotta move quick as oxygen is running out. Now thankfully there’s a bit of a tutorial that shows you the basics and what to do and thankfully the tutorial stays there for every run which is a huge plus for me but it does lack some info with issues ive encountered during my run more on that later.
So you start digging underground getting materials to start building and thankfully the main material is dirt as you build everything from dirt dont ask me how you get metal from dirty but you do now as your people are building there living against time the oxygen bar is small and runs out quick sadly it recovers slowly which im guessing is there way of getting as close as possible to realism.
Soon your tasked with building a research desk to unlock power and other important things thankfully all material needs again are simple just dirt which I like as it keeps some stress off during early stages but your in space how do you get power theres 2 options solar panels and a small coal plant you can use both well actually your forced to use both as solar panels dont really produce enough energy as for the coal plant as long as you have coal your golden which you find while digging underground.
The game offers special views to monitor the oxygen and power grids but honestly it doesn’t show much in my opinion just an overlay of where stuff is.
Now ive played a few hours into this game over 15 runs and every single time I end up losing to all my idiots dying, yes I called them idiots cause honestly they are they will mope around outside in the void of space sometimes not moving and dying because they couldn’t be assed to move to safety. By best run thanks to RNGesus I was able to get water pumps and oxygen generators going but then what even using the over lay you see where the oxygen is at but it barely moves or expands this is were my mood starts going sour.
Even with a tutorial after maybe 5 minutes the game just stops it doesn’t expand on oxygen generators or water pumps after you unlock them and build it doesn’t tell you or show you how to fully utilize stuff to get the maximum benefit and fine I get it the devs want you to figure shit out but if your not giving players an actual tutorial run people will get frustrated and quit and I did after over 23 runs of just dying over and over I gave up even with everything I learned it still wasnt enough my biggest gripe is at one point a warning icon pops up saying cant operate due to pressure ok how do I fix it where is the info and the game gives you nothing what in the actual fuck am I supposed to magically know what to do no its the devs job during tutorial to show players everything and they cant even be assed to give a proper tutorial.
All that aside yes the game is fun and if your a fan of builder style games then check this out and if you’ve played oxygen not included then you might have no problems here but clearly this game doesn’t want new players and its sad I really wanna keep playing it but im not gonna risk punching my monitor thanks to how frustrated this game made me.
Thats all for today guys thank you for stopping by take care and game on.

New regions will expand Jagex’s fantasy survival game in the months ahead, as it continues to navigate a successful expedition through Steam Early Access.
Thursday, 29th January 2026, Cambridge, UK – Jagex, creator of the iconic RuneScape franchise, has today unveiled further details on the next uncharted regions of Ashenfall set to emerge from the mists of RuneScape Dragonwilds over the next year. Featured as part of today’s community summit livestream, these new and mysterious areas – Dowdun Reach, Umbral Sands, and Scorned Wilderness – will expand the world and continue the Kuldra Saga, which began with the game’s launch into Early Access in April 2025.
Watch the community livestream here: https://www.twitch.tv/rsdragonwilds
RuneScape: Dragonwilds is an epic, open-world survival and crafting game set on Gielinor’s forgotten continent of Ashenfall, where solo players or teams of up to four, embark on quests to discover why untamed, transformative magic spills across the broken, fractured land. This latest deep dive into the upcoming early access content comes soon after Jagex recently announced sales of the game has broken the one million sales milestone.
Dowdun Reach: Madness of Zamorak
Scheduled to launch towards the end of March, Dowdun Reach is an area choking under the shadow of Zamorak, the God of Chaos. At its heart is a mountain fortress lost in the mists of long ago, now haunted by the twisted, tormented Black Knights.
Focused on the fortified stronghold’s labyrinthine halls, battlements, armouries, and inner chambers, players must complete layered quests, overcome its knights in deadly combat, and explore every hidden corner. Those who dare push into the inner keep and beyond will uncover materials needed to craft mithril-tier gear and weapons, but nothing comes easily. Deeper within, an even greater challenge awaits: Blue Dragons.
Dowdun Reach will also see a brand-new skill for players to max out, as Fishing makes its debut in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. The overall level cap for each skill in the game will also be increasing to 99, with content being retroactively added to existing skills in future content updates.
Umbral Sands: Fire of Fuzan
Coming this Summer, the vast desert region of the Umbral Sands comes to the game, bringing with it the blistering heat from the sun bearing down upon baking ground. Featuring a dangerously dynamic environmental system, players exposed to its rays will be drained of health, making their use of shade and the time of day critical for survival. But of course, while the daytime heralds the unbearable heat and attacks from the elemental Kot’Haar, nighttime brings with it new dangers for players to face…
Ruled by Fuzan, the Red Dragon General, the Umbral Sands will introduce a selection of iconic RuneScape items to the game, including Adamant tier gear, Red Dragonhide, and Yew Bows and Staffs, together with Icthlarin, the Demigod of the Underworld.
Scorned Wilderness: Rage of Kuldra
Due to launch in September 2027, Scorned Wilderness will bring the Kuldra Saga to a stunning conclusion as players face off against Kuldra, the God Eater.
In addition to the major updates above, RuneScape: Dragonwilds will also receive monthly minor updates adding new quests and activities to the game as well as adding quality of life fixes.
RuneScape: Dragonwilds is available now on Steam Early Access.
Karma the Dark world
From Silence to Shadows: Celebrating Geng Li and The Music Behind Acclaimed Indie Horror Game KARMA: The Dark World
Unreleased Behind the Scenes footage explores sound, silence, and psychological tension.
Watford, United Kingdom – 30th of January – Independent publisher Wired Productions and developer Pollard Studio are once again spotlighting the sound and score of KARMA: The Dark World with the release of a new short documentary exploring the music and audio technology behind the critically acclaimed psychological horror released in 2025, whose score earned a WSA nomination. The feature highlights how sound and silence underpin the game’s emotional weight and unsettling atmosphere. The release coincides with a Steam Daily Deal, offering players 45% off for a limited time, and inviting a wider audience to experience how audio plays a central role in KARMA’s thought-provoking psychological horror.
