Get your first look at Genigods: Nezha in the new gameplay reveal video here: https://youtu.be/M5mZseIFDmc

Genigods: Nezha is a premium, pay upfront, hardcore action role-playing game set against the chaotic backdrop of ancient Chinese genesis mythology. You are the Spirit Pearl—the very first spark of life forged by Nüwa, the Goddess of Life, from the essence of earth, water, and fire.

In this epic journey, you will evolve from a celestial artifact into the first human, a woman crafted from water and clay, before eventually being reborn as the legendary Nezha. Your journey is shared by legendary heroes: Yi, the sun-feller, and Yu, the flood-tamer. Beside you also dwells the Heart of Sacred Water—Nüwa’s sentient gift that grows with you, serving as your vital companion to solve ancient puzzles, conquer the toughest trials and learn the dark truth behind this new world.

Genigods Lab’s 100-person team previously made the critically and commercially acclaimed My Hero Academia mobile game published by Sony Crunchyroll. The team also developed the popular Condor Heroes series for mobile platforms, which recently surpassed over 10 million downloads worldwide.

“Our mission is to ignite the epic celestial battles of Chinese mythology. In Genigods: Nezha, every skill you cast, every choice you make, writes a new line in an ancient epic—forged in your image,” explained Erdi Yao, co-founder and Head of Creative & Design at Genigods Lab“Players will wield the heart of creation, soar between realms, awaken the three-headed and eight-armed form, and step onto the primordial battlefield to mend the shattered heavens. This is not about hearing a story; it is about etching your name into its very fabric,” he added.

For a full feature breakdown of this exciting new story-driven adventure, please see below:

  • Celestial Combat
Experience the dynamic scale of Chinese mythic warfare, where battle flows seamlessly between Heaven and Earth. Switch seamlessly between ground and aerial combat utilising dual stances, awaken temporary mythic abilities to perform devastating combos and mid-air strikes, and combine treasures discovered in the game world to create unique skills.
  • Colossal Gods and the Sun Tree
Built with Unreal Engine 5 and optimized for Playstation, Genigods: Nezha delivers a one-of-a-kind Chinese-style colossal adventure: climb ancient gods towering like mountains and fight by traversing the contours of their bodies. With the help of the giant Kuafu, scale the Sun Tree that bridges mortal and celestial realms, then draw your bow to extinguish The Nine Suns and end the scorching catastrophe.
  • Water Philosophy & Jeet Kune Do Mechanics
Genigods: Nezha’s combat is inspired by Bruce Lee’s iconic ‘Be Water’ philosophy through the Divine Water within Nezha. Her techniques adapt the essence of Jeet Kune Do. Condense water into a piercing One-Inch Flash for armor-breaking blows, or unleash water all at once, as a sweeping Dragon’s Kick to tackle crowds of enemies at once. This system encourages players to master a defensive, reactive style of combat— and requires perfect timing to parry and counter with the adaptable precision of water itself.

Diablo Veterans Unveil Darkhaven: A Living ARPG World Shaped by Players

Diablo Veterans Unveil Darkhaven: A Living ARPG World Shaped by Players
Moon Beast Productions launches Steam page and announces upcoming Kickstarter
California, USA – January 29th, 2026 — Moon Beast Productions, an independent studio founded by Diablo veterans Philip Shenk, Peter Hu, and Erich Schaefer, today announced Darkhaven, a next-generation action RPG that returns to the genre’s roots while pushing it forward with a fully dynamic, persistent world. Alongside the announcement, Moon Beast has launched the game’s Steam page and revealed plans for an upcoming Kickstarter campaign, with a Kickstarter coming soon page inviting the ARPG community to help bring the project to Early Access.

Darkhaven is a dark fantasy isometric ARPG set in the aftermath of a great and final collapse of civilization. Ancient empires have fallen, their ruins reclaimed by wilderness, monsters, and predatory supernatural forces. Players are heirs to a legacy of power that is the last hope for this dying world. As eldritch evil worms its way into the world to feed on its remains, it falls to these few to bring the land back from the brink of death.
Darkhaven Announce Trailer
Designed for solo play, cooperative adventures, and high-stakes PvP-enabled realms, Darkhaven is set in a procedurally generated, fully dynamic, and persistent world. Terrain and structures are deformable and buildable, allowing players to dig through earth, tunnel through dungeon walls, drain lakes to uncover buried ruins, redirect lava flows to reshape battlefields, or rebuild shattered fortresses. Seasons change, weather alters combat and traversal, and world-altering events leave permanent scars. Every action contributes to a shared, evolving history.

Combat in Darkhaven enhances the balance between stat progression, build choice, and player skill. Heroes can jump, climb, swim, dash, and traverse the world freely, introducing a new layer of action and skill rarely seen in the genre. Success is not just a function of stats, but of movement, timing, and terrain awareness, dramatically expanding the “action” at the heart of action RPGs.

“From the very beginning, we wanted Darkhaven to feel good to play,” said Erich Schaefer, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer. “Movement is fun. Being able to jump over attacks, climb cliffs, dash out of danger, or swim across a lake that may or may not be infested with riverfangs changes how combat feels in this kind of game. It’s not just about numbers fighting numbers anymore. It’s much more engaging. For me, it becomes more about skill, finding flow, and making smart decisions in the moment. I’ve never had more fun making and playing an ARPG.”
The game’s itemization and progression philosophy draws heavily on the originators of the ARPG genre, Diablo and Diablo II. Rejecting the incrementalism common in many modern titles, Darkhaven embraces bold, expressive loot – items that feel powerful, sometimes surprisingly so, and capable of redefining builds rather than merely optimizing them.

“Great itemization is about possibility,” said Peter Hu, Co-Founder and President. “In Darkhaven, we want items that open doors, gear that makes you stop and rethink your build, your strategy, or even how you play the game. Finding something powerful should be exciting and inspiring, not something that gets smoothed out into tiny percentage gains.”

Moon Beast Productions brings together decades of experience across genre-defining titles, including DiabloDiablo IIDiablo II: Lord of DestructionDiablo IIIHellgate: LondonTorchlightTorchlight IINox, and Marvel Heroes Online.

“We’re incredibly excited to finally reveal Darkhaven and open its Steam page,” said Philip Shenk, CEO and Co-Founder. “This project represents everything we’ve learned about ARPGs over the last two decades, and what becomes possible when those ideas are combined with modern technology. We’re building a world that remembers what you’ve done, bears the scars of your victories and failures, and tells stories that only your playthrough can create. With the community’s support, we’re ready to bring Darkhaven to Early Access, which will allow us to continue to build the game into the incredible experience we all want it to be.”

Players can follow Darkhaven’s Kickstarter campaign now and wishlist the game on Steam. There will also be a playable demo available alongside the Kickstarter when it goes live.

Rouge Night

Hello everyone today I wanna talk to you about a sweet little indie game called Rouge Night but first huge thank you to Grey November Games for sending me a copy its greatly appreciated it now let’s dive in.

The first issue i had with the game was a bit game breaking I opened a cave door and everytime I went in the game crashed on me I reported it to the devs on there discord as another player had the same issue they told me to give them some time which I did the next date an update went live for the game fixing the door that really impressed me the devs were quick responsive and didnt brush me off they made me feel like my worth as a player was worth more then gold and it felt awesome another time i was experiencing lag and crashing talked to the devs again and after some back and forth they were able to recreate the issues and send out a fix this is how devs keep gamers by talking and showing up for them and I for one will definitely stay, now the reason I started with this is cause I wanna show gamers out there that devs do listen.

Those are  literally the only issue’s ive had with the game which is an rougelike sandbox open world survival crafting and ima throw in rpg cause you do missions lol but yeah you start the game and talk to a spirit fox which guides you with your missions telling you where to go you make your way out of a forest to this castle city thats in ruins as the zombies destroy everything, now im not a huge fan of zombies I hate horror games but I gave this one a shot the graphic style didnt make anything over scary like in an actual horror game on the contrary the zombies looked adorable and made me wanna fight them all even more.

The game offers a good variety of weapons from a sword to daggers to a spear and great sword and everything else the game offers cant spoil it all. Most weapons are found on enemies or on the ground so make sure you fight alot cause you will need to.The map is big and there’s lots to explore and plenty of missions to do i think there were 8 pages of missions but im sure more will be added down the line.

You also get to build a house where survivors you find will gather yes there’s other living people in the game thankfully, I did realize that when you die you lose everything and restart over I havent had a chance to ask about that so ill update if I get to ask.  there’s also some pretty intense bosses as well first one I found was a giant spider and boy do I hate spiders.

This game is fun its simple its not very demanding or taxing on your system and honestly it deserves more eyes on it I cant wait to see how the game turns out and what more they add to it thank you all for stopping by take care and game on.

Dwarves glory death and loot

First off huge thank you to Hamma Studios for sending me a copy of the game its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in shall we.

Today we talk about Dwarves glory death and loot an auto battler thats available on the nintendo switch and steam, I was fortunate enough to play on the nintendo switch and i love games like these cause they fit perfectly on the platform.

So the game is an auto battler meaning the game does all the fighting for you which im fine with considering your army is made up of 10 awesome dudes fighting for glory and loot.

The game has 3 difficulties to choose from loot being easy mode and focusing on loot then there’s glory which is normal where you start to focus on staying alive as well and then there’s death which is hard mode if you lose any people during combat thats it there gone. Thankfully for your initial run the game does teach you the ropes and everything is super easy to learn and grasp.

Since I was on the switch version to move around between different menus it was all wired to the right joy stick which made everything a breeze you had the store and inventory tabs then you had the recruitment tab for new fighters then the fighting tab which let you choose which fight you wanted to proceed with, at no point did i feel overwhelmed by the menu set up like some games tend to be.

The gear is easy to work with once you unlock the forge you upgrade and make gear better at a 3 to 1 ratio there in ore in the game but I haven’t figured out how to use it yet.

This game is a blast its simple and fun easy to pick up and hard to put down and considering it made it to 1.0 release this game has a bright future and its one I highly recommend and if you have a switch console definitely pick it up this game feels right at home in handheld mode ive had fun with the hours ive put into it and cant wait to see what’s next for the future of the game thank you all for stopping by take care and game on.

Super Alloy Crush Demo

Super alloy crush is what you get when old school megaman is a huge inspiration, I wanna thank the team at Alloy Mushroom for sending me a demo code to check out let’s talk about it.

So the demo is short in total it took me 51 minutes to beat both characters which isnt bad but I kinda expected a bit more but its a demo so I understand.

Super Alloy Crush is a rougelite brawler that takes huge inspiration from classic megaman side scrollers. You play as 1 of 2 characters Kelly or Muu to battle evil doers. Kelly is the range character using guns, grenades and other specials to dish out damage he wasnt so bad but I couldn’t mesh with him I died once in the demo using him but that was mostly do to my own carelessness. His gun play is solid but you will struggle with boss battles considering all the jumping you have to do. Muu is the close combat expert and my favorite of the 2 characters. She gives off the classic wolverine aggressive feel with her play style using what im guessing are plasma claws or electric not sure hard to tell she charges into combat driven by combos and damage and made the demo much easier then her counter part Kelly.

During the demo the levels felt amazing the combat felt solid the variety in enermies was great and the boss battles were intense as enemies spawned to help the boss.

The demo closed out with a bit of the bullet hell rougelite im used to and it was fun I had a blast and cant wait to experience more of this game when it releases.

So if your a fan of megaman rougelites brawlers and Co op games check out super alloy crush with its awesome crt filters for the classic vibes and its great level exploration this game has huge potential and I cant wait tonsee its release, thank you for stopping by take care and game on.

Masters of Albion

Build By Day, Defend By Night. A God Game Reimagined – Watch the Action Unfold in the New Release Date Trailer HERE

Guildford, UK – January 12, 2026 – 22cans, led by legendary game creator Peter Molyneux, today announced that Masters of Albion will launch on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 18:00 BST, exclusively on PC via Steam. A brand-new release date trailer showcases the game’s unique blend of cosy creativity by day and brutal survival by night.Built by a team that includes legends of the industry, Mark Healey, Russell Shaw, Iain Wright and Kareem Ettouney, who were key in developing Dungeon Keeper, Black & White, and Fable, Masters of Albion reimagines the god game for today. Blending strategy, simulation, town management, and real-time defence, the game gives players extraordinary freedom to play the game the way they want to play it.Taking inspiration from some of Peter’s classic titles, Masters of Albion is a return to form, blending gameplay mechanics from multiple genres, strategy with simulation, town management with defence, to reinvigorate the god game, and give players the power and freedom to create.

Or destroy…

Said Peter Molyneux:
“Masters of Albion is the culmination of my life’s work, a game that owes so much to titles like Dungeon Keeper, Black & White, and Fable. It’s a totally unique game that we hope will delight players, a game that brings God Games into the modern gaming landscape and puts the genre firmly back on the map.”

Albion, a land shaped by the hands of heroes, is at a great turning point in its history. Its lords and luminaries have pulled Albion’s society into a new age of manufacturing and production, a golden era, an industrial revolution. But behind this modernisation lurks a painful past of magic and mayhem, one that threatens to drag Albion back into a dark age of mysticism.

Shape the world from above as a god or step directly into it by possessing heroes, workers, animals and more.

Masters of Albion mixes strategy, simulation, town management, and real-time defence, all woven into a rich narrative-driven world.

“Some are born with power, some achieve power, and some have great power thrust upon them.”

Build, Create, and Customise

As a god, you have absolute freedom over your towns and villages:

• Design and build every structure
• Hire, house and manage your workforce
• Customise buildings with paint, patterns and embellishments
• Combine building types into unique multi-purpose structures
• No timers or waiting, build instantly and iterate freely

From small workshops to sprawling towns, Albion grows exactly how you decide.

Wield the Power of the God Hand
Command the world with ancient powers:

• Manipulate buildings and objects freely
• Possess and control the living
• Inspire, reward, insult, or punish your people
• Throw giant boulders, spiked balls, exploding barrels or just plain old-fashioned people
• Rain lightning, fire and destruction down upon your enemies
• Shape Albion with absolute authority

Enjoy the freedom that being a god brings, but with great freedom comes great responsibility.

Roam Freely Across Albion
Experience the world from multiple perspectives:

• View Albion from the heavens or possess living beings to explore on foot
• Control heroes, dogs, workers and even chickens
• Complete quests to unlock treasures and secrets
• Delve into dangerous underground cave networks
• Craft weapons and armour for your heroes
• Design the clothes that your workers wear (however bizarre)
• Explore, experiment and uncover the forgotten history of Albion

Defend the Night
When night falls, Albion is no longer safe. Malevolent creatures emerge from the darkness, attacking towns and killing indiscriminately. Survival depends on preparation and decisive action:

• Design, build and arm powerful defensive turrets
• Hire heroes to protect the people
• Escort the vulnerable through the terrors of the night
• Construct walls, choke points, and deadly defences
• Channel enemies into carefully planned kill zones
• Use god powers to strike fear into the undead
• Possess heroes and fight enemies directly in real-time combat

Each night tests your planning, creativity, and resolve.

Key Themes
• Power and responsibility
• Industry versus ancient magic
• Freedom of choice and consequence
• Cosy creativity contrasted with chaos and danger

Players can enjoy the freedom that comes with being a God by Wishlisting the game now via Steam ahead of its release on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Keep up to date on the latest news via XInstagramFacebook, Reddit, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Players can get exclusive news and content by signing up to the official Discord.

Blightstone

Hello everyone today we get to talk about Blightstone a dark fantasy turned based action rougelike but first huge thank you to Unfinished Pixel for sending me a review copy its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in.

At first I thought this was a squad based bullet hell game thats was my mistake I didnt read the email properly my mistake but what I got was so much better and a lot more tactical where every move you make is life or death and choices mean everything.

So what is blightstone its an dark medieval fantasy turned based rougelite rpg thats straight from the email so we all know rpg’s have great story and this is no exception and the story starts at the tutorial. Yes thank lord there’s an actual legit tutorial that gives you a break down of the characters how to move what to watch and check every skill. Truly thank you Unfinished Pixel for this and the fact its right at the main menu under its own section meaning you can play it at anytime to brush up is even better in my opinion.

Players will lead a small party of great warriors on a journey that transcends time itself as you must take a living crystal thats bound to you by fate to the end of the world, every run every failure every mistake is another scar that dooms our world to end untimely, but wait every run also is met by a chance at victory which brings a chance at a new build new skills new gear all while the chaotic world around you is swallowed by darkness.

Here’s a small excerpt from the email.

In the world of the Blightstone you’ll find deep strategy, blended seamlessly with roguelike progression. Your mission? To protect the Earthglass Crystal, and deliver it to the Infernal Rift. Only by doing this will you be able to destroy the demon overlord Korghul, and shatter the Blightstone itself.

So that crystal thats follows you around is key to saving the world but can we save it and at what cost you see this is where the game transcends time as everytime you die well I cant spoil it you will have to play to find out.

The combat is great even for a turned based game and even better if the fact the environment works both for you and against you either by having a wall blocking your aim or a fire barrel near the enemy primed for a spell to set it off make sure you study your surroundings before you start the fight every detail is a small aid to victory.

Heros come to your aid along your journey you will find others to aid you in the fight against evil so dont worry your not alone the world will answer.

The map is probably my favorite part you get to choose the path you want theres multiple points of interest and combat and every so often you camp out at night in hopes of healing a bit before you continue.
All in all Unfinished Pixel has a great gem here and the polish is insane the game feels buttery smooth and the story even tho the main good guy pisses me off is interesting and will draw you in to continue playing so pick up blightstone for 15.99 its worth it for the replay ability alone thank you all for stopping by take care and game on.
