Ardenfall Demo

Hello everyone today I wanna talk to you about the Ardenfall demo that I got to check out and enjoy so come along for the ride and let’s dive in

First off its a fantasy rpg so if you have played games like the elden scrolls you will fit right in as this game i feel uses those games as a huge inspiration. The demo gave me about 83 minutes of play time between all the reading and adventuring.

So the game starts you with a story of a horrible storm sending you off course crashing to an island you wake up and the first thing you do is create a character which has some great selections to it. And then once completed you wake up on a beach with another npc that tells you what happened and how to proceed.

From the beach you find a cave and off you go to start your adventure the combat that I experienced in the cave was great it felt smooth but a bit delayed at times but nothing that I couldn’t deal with once you reach the end of the cave your at your first village of Bisawa where people do not take kindly to you but its where you get your first real mission but I wont spoil it.

You get a giant number bar for your weapons and spell a total of 9 different items can be equipped which is bad ass honestly giving you plenty of variety.

Even tho the demo was short this game has huge potential and I cant wait to see more of it I hope it releases soon head over to steam and check it out thank you for stopping by take care and game on.

Echoes of Elysium

Hello everyone today we dive into a new game that recently released called Echoes of Elysium but first massive thank you to Loric Games and Snail Games for sending me a copy its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in.

So echoes of elysium takes place in Greek mythology your people have disappeared and there’s no one left the gods have cut off access to your realm and you wake up alone what could be the last survivor of your people great story concept adds plenty of mystery and definitely makes me question what happened to my people after the cut scene of the game telling you all this your dropped into the game.

And when I mean dropped I do mean literally dropped theres no tutorial which for a game that calls itself a survival crafter game there should definitely be a tutorial I dont mind learning some stuff but the fact im going in blind and have to learn everything huge issue for me and not a fan of it honestly.

Whatever spirit or goddess finds you tells you your still being hunter to craft a ship and find the closest light house ok cool so you can give me a mission but you cant tell me how to build or anything nope I dont like that one bit and the area you start in is small and barely has any resources to farm now mind you that there’s resources floating in bubbles all around you that you can grab but the game gives you no info on how to do that it doesn’t even offer you a movement tutorial and you need one considering you have some mythical jet pack to fly around with that honestly dies faster then just flying with wings.

And this was all in the first 5 minutes of the game I know not off to a great start but let’s continue as I progress and figured stuff out I manage to expand my ship with much annoyance and find said light house where I have to fight a robot with no weapon cause I dont have the right materials to make one go figure but that robot went down and I had a small base of operations after which I looked around and admired the area and surrounding which let’s be honest its a beautiful game it really is the reason you need a ship and jetpack is cause during the cutscene it tells you how all the islands started floating away and now there in the sky so your a mythical flying pirate captain lmao (laughing my ass off) which is pretty cool.

Visually the game is stunning the ship doesn’t look half bad after you get it to a good enough size but there’s a lot to craft and learn if you wanna be viable after trying it by myself for a bit I jumped on with a friend who wasnt having a great play time as he was finding bugs left and right many which the devs already know of and are working fast on fixing which huge shout out to the devs for being on top of there game.

Now for multiplayer I had a blast playing with my friend I didnt experience as many problems as he did but the ones we experienced together are a bit game breaking for example there’s the issue with npc respawns happening almost immediately after there killed as well as one of the robot birds despawning right as there about to be killed now the devs know about these issues there discord has been active non stop with people reporting bugs and the devs talking about it the game has gotten a big update to help and the devs are still hard at work my experience aside this game is worth it and being part of the journey and the fix makes me feel good about myself as a gamer and I know these devs appreciate all the feed back and help there getting the constant updates to fix stuff shows that even though they may have missed stuff during development doesn’t mean there moving on there fixing everything and showing us gamers they mean business.

This game is in early access you can wait a bit for more updates or pick it up and help the devs out on there journey either way echoes of elysium is a fun game with awesome crafting and some intense flying thank you for stopping by take care and game on.

A Dying Wish Must Be Fulfilled
Dive into this first-person narrative as Katari, an ambitious adventurer following the trail of his deceased father. Use your observation, experimentation, and ingenuity to connect these ancient machines and solve the mystery of your father’s dying wish.

Puzzles Protecting Centuries Of Civilization

Each puzzle is crafted to challenge your spatial awareness, timing, and experimentation. Utilize Katari’s Balearic Sling, a multifunctional tool, to assist you on your adventure. You can aim, charge, and release shots to hit distant targets, break fragile seals, and ricochet projectiles around corners. As your journey progresses, upgrades will expand the sling’s capabilities, allowing deeper interaction with the environment and the mountain’s forgotten technologies. When puzzles grow more challenging, your father’s journal serves as a crucial guide, offering clues and insights. New entries will be revealed with each puzzle you solve, helping you understand more about this lost civilization. If you’re feeling stuck, a handy ‘hint’ feature is available, as well as dialogue prompts to guide you towards your goal.

A Story Sewn With Secrets

Ciudadela has been asleep for centuries. Its artifacts and advanced technologies have remained untouched, waiting for you to uncover what came before–and what follows. Explore ancient relics, awaken forgotten technology, and piece together the history of a civilization that evolved beyond the constraints of time. From sweeping Patagonian vistas to vast sci-fi caverns, Ciudadela invites exploration at every turn. Its underground caverns shift and evolve from level to level, immersing players in echoes of centuries past. Along the way, you’ll recover legendary core artifacts forged by history’s greatest minds: Archimedes’ Drill, Da Vinci’s Crossbow, and Galileo’s Observation of the Moons. Reactivate long-dormant machines and uncover the secrets buried deep within the mountain.

Gameplay Features:

  • Breathtaking Scenes: Adventure through Patagonian Vistas lined with vegetation and flowing water features,  moody sci-fi glowing caverns, fields of grass dancing in the wind, and more.

Rouge Night

Hello everyone today I wanna talk to you about a sweet little indie game called Rouge Night but first huge thank you to Grey November Games for sending me a copy its greatly appreciated it now let’s dive in.

The first issue i had with the game was a bit game breaking I opened a cave door and everytime I went in the game crashed on me I reported it to the devs on there discord as another player had the same issue they told me to give them some time which I did the next date an update went live for the game fixing the door that really impressed me the devs were quick responsive and didnt brush me off they made me feel like my worth as a player was worth more then gold and it felt awesome another time i was experiencing lag and crashing talked to the devs again and after some back and forth they were able to recreate the issues and send out a fix this is how devs keep gamers by talking and showing up for them and I for one will definitely stay, now the reason I started with this is cause I wanna show gamers out there that devs do listen.

Those are  literally the only issue’s ive had with the game which is an rougelike sandbox open world survival crafting and ima throw in rpg cause you do missions lol but yeah you start the game and talk to a spirit fox which guides you with your missions telling you where to go you make your way out of a forest to this castle city thats in ruins as the zombies destroy everything, now im not a huge fan of zombies I hate horror games but I gave this one a shot the graphic style didnt make anything over scary like in an actual horror game on the contrary the zombies looked adorable and made me wanna fight them all even more.

The game offers a good variety of weapons from a sword to daggers to a spear and great sword and everything else the game offers cant spoil it all. Most weapons are found on enemies or on the ground so make sure you fight alot cause you will need to.The map is big and there’s lots to explore and plenty of missions to do i think there were 8 pages of missions but im sure more will be added down the line.

You also get to build a house where survivors you find will gather yes there’s other living people in the game thankfully, I did realize that when you die you lose everything and restart over I havent had a chance to ask about that so ill update if I get to ask.  there’s also some pretty intense bosses as well first one I found was a giant spider and boy do I hate spiders.

This game is fun its simple its not very demanding or taxing on your system and honestly it deserves more eyes on it I cant wait to see how the game turns out and what more they add to it thank you all for stopping by take care and game on.

Adaptory

Survive, Discover, Thrive: Adaptory  Launches into Early Access on Steam!

Survive a spaceship crash, build a sustainable colony, and thrive!

[Aotearoa / New Zealand] – January 26, 2026 – Stormcloak Gamesand indie.io are proud to announce that Adaptory, the indie survival base-building sim, is now available in Early Access on Steam! This ambitious, systems-driven adventure puts players in indirect control of a crew of Terranean explorers suddenly woken up from cryosleep as their starship crashes into the surface of an uncharted planetoid. A mission of exploration turns into one of survival.

Players start with a four-person crew, each procedurally generated with a unique set of personality traits and specialized skills, and a crashed ship. From there, it’s up to them to figure out how to ensure their party can survive on the planetoid. Interlocking systems simulate chemical and physical properties of over fifty materials offer unlimited solutions in an environment filled with challenges and limited resources. Players need to think ahead in planning their expansion, with complexity naturally growing as the crew explores the planetoid and locates or fails to locate new resources.

YouTube Video.

Random events will stress test the player’s crew and base constantly. It might be a meteor shower damaging the surface of the planetoid and venting a crucial area to the vacuum of space, a solar eclipse suddenly leaving the base without power, plunging the tree farm into darkness and depriving everyone of oxygen, or an explorer holding their breath a little too long in a cave filled with carbon dioxide.

Beyond accident-proofing, players need to tend to the crew’s mental health: Their randomly generated personalities may mesh together – or drive a wedge between them. Coupled with other pressures, the mood may dip – and that affects the explorers’ ability to work, movement speed, and general resilience. Neglecting the social aspect of the base can lead to a cascading failure even in the most optimized base designs!

While complex, Adaptory ensures that it is not overwhelming through CHARLI, a cheeky artificial intelligence that survived the crash and introduces each system to the player through a series of contextual tutorials. These do not limit the players’ ability to build and explore, allowing them to set their own pace. This also ensures that every mishap is just another step in understanding and mastering the game’s core mechanics and creating a truly sustainable settlement.

Sustainability is the focus of the game’s gameplay, encouraging resiliency and long-term thinking. Instead of terrifying aliens, the challenge lies in surviving on a seemingly barren world. With the right plan, mistakes can be recovered from, creating an experience where nurturing a crew and base back to full health is more rewarding than simply restarting the game from scratch.

As an Early Access title, Adaptory will continue to evolve in close collaboration with its community. Stormcloak Games plans to actively incorporate player feedback as development progresses toward a full 1.0 release. Planned updates include expanding the research tree with new systems, including material refining and smelting, advanced heating and cooling mechanics, and ever deeper layers of simulation that further challenge players to build resilient, self-sustaining colonies.

Are you up for the task? Adaptory is now available in Early Access on Steam for USD $19.99, with a 20% launch discount!  Join the Discord server and a growing community of Adaptory fans actively involved in helping shape the game’s design- then follow Stormcloak Games on YouTubeBlueSkyMastodon, and Instagram to stay up to date!

These new items join the RuneScape 25th Anniversary collection alongside the previously announced YouTooz Lumbridge Castle and RuneScape: 25 Years Deluxe Vinyl from Laced Records.

Today’s raft of announcements for Old School RuneScape forms part of the RuneScape franchise’s 25th anniversary, which will also see the biggest RuneFest ever take place this autumn in Birmingham, UK.

Old School RuneScape is available now on PCSteamiOS, and Android, complete with cross-platform progression and play on PC and mobile.

Bladesong

The level of detail in this game is insane and makes me feel like an actual blade Smith not just a gamer playing a game.

You start the game in a dream state you pick your character type male or female then what your life was like your knowledge and so forth and yes it actually helps with the progression in the story as some choices depend on certain skills you have your toughness and knowledge being some as well as finesse, after you make your choices the game opens up into the tutorial and even the tutorial tells you pay attention or you wont learn so please pay attention.

The first thing it goes over it the camera movement which im not a fan of why would you stick a camera binding to the press of the scroll wheel makes no sense at all but thats just my 2 cents. Next your looking at the anvil and the process begins. The tutorial starts by telling you how the lengthen the metal that will become the blade each blade has a sweet spot in length and the info box on the top left tells you everything that is e,petted of the sword you are making and boy does shit get complex as you progress. Then you gotta flatten the blade and widen it these 3 steps are the most basic of everything your gonna be doing so make sure you watch everything closely cause if you mess up you will have to start over and fix the sword properly.

Next the game will show you how to put a tip on the sword and this one is probably the most trickiest of them all as you can over tip the sword to the point its almost a needle which some customers will want that.

Then comes the sharpness of the blade which is the easiest to do you see a blue line will pop up on the blade and will move until it hits the proper spot then it will change to orange when you have reached the exact point intended honestly best guide line ever.

The whole left side of the screen while your at the anvil is your info bar as well as the square that pops up on the right also shows some details as well.

After the tutorial of making the game shows you a small fixing tutorial cause not only will you be making blades you will be fixing them as well. The amount of detail and information in this tutorial is insane and well done could they have added more sure but it might have messed with the flow of the game.

After the game drops you into the story of the game where you are awoken at a tent with a forge outside in a tent filled camp of people trying to enter a city for safety. You will try to get in as well but no luck sadly.

This is where the game opens up where every choice is both good and bad where everyone is watching you and where one wrong move can mean death for your character.

The economy is rough not only must you find supplies but you also gotta find vendors and boy the first vendor you find is rough considering this game takes place during medieval times people were scared of plagues and everything else.

This game is amazing the detail the feel of making a sword the hilts and everything in between i am so glade to have experienced this game and I cant wait tonsee what they do with it in the future so if you wanna feel like a real bladesmith pick up Bladesong you wont be disappointed, thank you all for coming by take care and game on.
