Taival Demo

Hello everyone hows it going today we talk about Taival but first I wanna thank the teams of Bonobo Software, Poysky Productions and Level Up Gaming for giving me access to the press demo its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in.

So where do I start first this is my first time playing a minecraft style game and surprisingly it wasnt bad the blocky style took some getting used to but I managed to get through it even tho it was hurting my eyes a bit.

The game starts with your ship crashing into a dock on some village thats under attack the o ly person around doesn’t even ask if your ok they just ask for your help in saving the mayor from the attack and immediately your thrown into the story you get no choices nothing just boom your walking good grab that sword and go fight.

So you make your way around the village fighting until eventually you fight the boss kick his ass and save the mayor where you then free this caged animal that happens to be a legendary creature that hasn’t been seen in ages and your suddenly sent on this wild adventure.

Theres nothing to do in the demo so far just fight random enemies if they attack you and find a way to your destination no side quest or anything to distract you from your journey which im sure plenty of people will enjoy that but if im playing an rpg style game I wanna explore yes there was random icons on the compass bar which you can venture to but other then adding the location to the map they didnt feel rewarding at all.

I didnt have any issues running the game its not bad but I did have some graphical stutters which happened near the cave that you needed to reach I hope the devs take time to look it over also the loading between sections felt like everything breaks before finally loading into place and I didnt enjoy that it messes with your eyes a bit.

All in all the preview was fine it wasnt nothing huge theres potential and I look forward to seeing what comes with the full release again thanks to the devs for sending me access to the game its greatly appreciated have a great day and game on.

Collectors Cove

Hey everyone hows it going? Today i wanna talk to you about a cozy little gem but first massive thank you to Voodoo Duck for sending me out a key to check out there game its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in.

Collectors cove is a cozy farming adventure on the seas. You have an awesome spacious ship and an even awesomer friend who’s sorta like a lockness monster but very friendly who will help you on your journey.

So the game starts you out on a bit of a tutorial with your uncle teaching you the ropes and giving you your compendium which is a fancy term for your guide book which you fill up as you progress, so after your uncle lays down the ropes gives you some tools and makes sure your ready which he does a great job of it probably one of the best tutorials ive seen in a game, your given your ship and set off on a journey to become a fabled Named Collector which is the highest rank and it will take a lot of work but thats what’s part of the fun is the work you put in to get better.

This game has everything crafting, fishing and gathering the fishing is actually very well done as you can just fish or make bait for specific fish which will become a huge part of the game as you progress since you also need to work on leveling up your friend to make things easier for yourself.

The compendium is very valuable and has plenty of information on everything you come across so always always refer back to it when you wanna do something specific, I forgot to mention there’s also gardening in the game so you will also be learning from the items you plant.

This game is every cozy players dream game and its the first actual cozy game ive played no timers to rush you a great day and night cycle which helps you discover different fishes and just the basic grind as you try to make your home a better place if you love cozy games its one I highly recommend to everyone the games available on steam and consoles and its 20 bucks which at that price is a must grab I hope you guys give this game the cozy love it deserves thanks for stopping by take care and game on.
