Sacrata Playtest

Sacrata was sent to me by the fine folks at SuperLimber Studios and as always I am grateful for the chance to check out there game so lets dive in and talk about it

Sacratas playtest was fun it gave me a chance to experience the first 3 difficulty levels of the first map and I gotta say man was there a lot in there its also chaotic the game is supposed to be a blend of Diablo and path of exile but to me its a rougelite survival game like brotato and vampire survivors only difference being your character is hot as fuck just saying.

So its a rougelite the combat is centered around you getting swarmed and surviving and each stage has missions for you to complete which after the round translate into bonuses for you to use at the shops this game has skill trees crafting shops and character selection amongst other things as well.

How did the playtest feel honestly i couldn’t tell I was in a playtest the game ran smoothly looked great and left me wanting more you find bosses at certain check points of the timer which end up dropping gear that you can equip to help make you stronger.

Majority of rougelites use the same formula this one’s no different but its how the devs execute everything that counts and im looking forward to seeing the final product again thanks to the devs for giving me a chance to play thank you all and game on

1666 Amsterdam

Hello everyone hows it going today i wanna talk to you about 1666 Amsterdam I know what a name but first a massive thank you to Panache Digital Games for sending me a key to explore and sink some time into 1666 so lets talk about it shall we.

I admit i wasnt sure what to expect from this game going in but I must say the devs have crafted a cinematic masterpiece cause in some ways it feels almost like a movie then an actual game everything from visuals to small details just leaves you stunned.

The game follows Noa a collector of magic and follows her journey through 1666 as she journeys to complete her job in order to save the world joined by her cat companion who has there own mystery for you to find out this game does amazing bringing to life the pass of what coulda been depending on your beliefs of course.

I did have some small issues with the game the combat was a bit of a hassle even when I dodged i got hit and you only spam the right trigger nothing else no combat spells that directly affect the target which was a bit of a let down another issue i had was controlling the cat i would sometimes get stuck on areas im allowed to jump to i feel the cat controls could use more polish it felt a bit all over the place.

This game is in early access and the devs themselves have stated early access will be used with help from the community to give better life to the game and i feel thats smart as a dev I feel you miss stuff but players might actually find things that need work and thats what gamers should remember everything good takes time.

Again thanks to the devs for sending me a key its greatly appreciated check out 1666 Amsterdam if you want an amazing story and beautiful visuals thank you all take care and game on

Dead or Alive 6 Last Round PS5 Review

Hello everyone hows it going today i bring you Dead or Alive 6 Last Round for the PS5 but first a MASSIVE  thank you to the legendary Koei Tecmo for sending me a review copy it was greatly appreciated so let’s talk about it.

Now i havent played a fighting game in years so I was shocked when I got this game sent to me as a game reviewer to be recognized and given the chance by a company like Koei Tecmo is insane but that aside onto the game.

The last dead or alive game I played was the beach volleyball one for the Xbox 360 fighting games weren’t my jam since the bloody roar series died out so I went into this game as a complete noob and just enjoyed my time with it.

Now there’s a story mode not in the traditional arcade sense but a separate story that expands in a web as you progress getting a chance to experience different characters view points which all seem to end with the start of the Dead or Alive tournament.
The game has a handful of different modes from arcade to training to online mode now i admit i stayed far away from online ill leave that to the experts i admit i didnt wanna cry from the ass whooping i woulda gotten had i jumped in there, training mode is the best you get to take each character for a spin till you find the one you mesh with and when you have over 20 characters to choose from there will be meshing, and arcade is just the simple arcade battles against the computer or couch co op with your friends and family.

The game has 15 different maps for you to fight on and each map has different areas that you burst into with landing some hard hits on your opponents, there’s also a leader board now since I was on PS5 i assume the leaderboard only shows PS5 players which I feel is a missed opportunity cause theres nothing better then competition amongst players wanting to reach that top spot.

The graphics were actually nice between cinematic takes and fight scenes there was never a change it looked beautiful the whole way. I dont know if the game offers crossplay between consoles and pc which it might not some would probably say pc would have an advantage over consoles but thats just my 2 cents.

I didnt have any issues during my play time the game played solid combat was fluid and fun and the story was interesting to watch and play through I didnt experience stutters or delays which in fighting games is important online could be another story but I didnt jump online just local single player.

The only negative thing I can say is this game has a ton of micro transactions in the form of costumes for the characters which isnt a huge deal but prices are a bit on the expensive side for my taste.

All in all I enjoyed my time with dead or alive 6 last round and I hope to work with koei tecmo again in the future again huge thank you for sending me a review copy i greatly appreciate it I hope you all have a good time take care and game on.
