Bellwright the survival game that takes survival very serious but can it be fun though, let’s talk about it.
But first huge thank you to Donkey Crew and Snail Games USA for sending me a copy to check out greatly appreciated.
So I was recently sent bellwright to check out there new content update called the maiden voyage, now my history with survival games is very limited Conan exiles and rust being the ones I had most time in but recently ive played others so I had some confidence going into this game and was hoping for a good time.
Is there a tutorial ima be honest I cant remember so we’re gonna dive into the game so you pick your character and start in some ruins there you have your first mission now the story from the cut scene is your looking for the person’s responsible for your parental figures death you are a child that lived there life in hiding all because you were at the wrong place at the wrong time which we all know how that goes guilty without a doubt throw them in jail and melt the key type drama. But anyways you escaped the harsh times and lived until now where your brought back to your old stomping grounds for answers and God damn it you will get answers.
The first village you stumble upon is called heardean village there your greeted with a cold shoulder from the mayor which after some talking you gotta prove yourself with some missions one being killing a pack of wolves and this brings us into our first foray with the combat system and boy im not a huge fan at all the combat system feels like they ripped it out of for honor you know circle on screen with an arrow pointing to which way your attacking thats how the combat in bellwright is now for the side swings its not bad its the overhead strike thats the issue since your moving your mouse the camera angles get a bit wonky and makes it harder to follow combat against multiple people.
But combat aside you finish the mission and start warming up to him you keep going until finally you are given the freedom with building your own home now this game world is huge the map is huge and there’s a hell of a lot to explore which guess what explore you have to you see its the only way your gonna come across new materials to help you build stuff this is where I wish the game had taught you more cause some stuff you cant find in the wild you gotta kill bandits or find vendors for it other stuff just keep exploring and hope your able to find it.
For example im stuck on a mission where I need to give a person 2 cloves of garlic well everything ive explored doesn’t have garlic and the vendors that ive found have been no help at all but since the main premise of the game is survive and explore well thats what I gotta keep doing.
Each village has a reputation meter that progresses the more you help them out and trust me you will wanna help them out its the only way to recruit the good workers into your settlement.
Now in your settlement your able to build some of the basic stuff but the real good stuff you cant make until you unlock a town hall and guess what for a beginner game that shit is hard to many resources to try and save or find with no luck so research and build what you can cause every bit helps grow your settlement into the illustrious village it will be one day.
Now for the update the maiden voyage dont get me started on this I am no where near the point I can do anything with the update so I’ll come back in the future and talk about it once ive gotten the chance to actually experience it.
The hardest thing ive had to find in the game is food and telling my villagers what to do im still learning on how to control them and my advice go to YouTube look up some videos save yourself the headache which I need to do so I can get them working properly. The food is scarce you have a couple berry bushes that regenerate but the good food comes from wild life your able to trap rabbits for food but they dont give enough sadly wolves are a bit better but the good food comes from the deers which I have not been able to get any from since there so fast and run away from you at first sight. I dont know if there’s better arrows or what but im stuck with the starting gear.
This game has a lot to do and survival is key as you deal with bitter winters and no food supply as well as keeping your people happy so they dont abandon you. At some point I will have to update you guys with more news i only have 9 hours into the game and this is no where near enough to experience the game as its so grand and offers a lot.
If your a fan of survival games with city builder elements then check out bellwright its in 1.0 full release and just got a major content update with maiden voyage I’ll keep you guys posted down the road as I keep playing trying to survive this game thank you all for stopping by take care and game on.

In ADRIFT, you have the freedom to explore and chart your own path across one map with multiple biomes and unlockable areas, uncovering thousands of shortcuts and secrets of this forgotten environment.
However, this desert is dangerous and you’ll need to stop off at cooling stations to ensure that the clock countdown or the heat meter doesn’t catch you out.
Key Features of ADRIFT
- Purple Rain: Inspired by the vibrant hues and lighting of the 1980’s, the colorful and dynamic art style of ADRIFT’s world encourages you to get lost in it.
- Let’s Get Physical: Plot your own route and use the physics-based isometric drifting and driving to navigate the dunes, forests, cityscapes, and plains in style, accelerating and handbrake turning in your agile offroad truck.

Make use of safe havens and cooling stations dotted across the map to keep the adventure (and your safety) going for a little bit longer.

New trailer showcases explosive co-op base building and a first taste of the fight for Sigma Century.
Belgium – 10 December, 2025. Indie developer Aberratic has unveiled a brand-new gameplay trailer for their upcoming sci-fi survival action RPG, Symbiosis, announcing that the first public playable demo will arrive on Steam on January 26, 2026. Revealed during today’s Unity Games Awards, the demo marks a key milestone on the road to Symbiosis’s Steam Early Access launch in early 2026. More details on what players will experience in the demo will be revealed soon, but survivors can wishlist Symbiosis on Steam now to stay up to date.
The latest trailer offers the most exciting look yet at the teamwork, tension, and tactical depth at the heart of Symbiosis. Whether playing alone or in co-op, you’ll need to work together to scavenge vital resources, construct fortified bases, and prepare for the swarms of hostile creatures that stalk the alien surface of Sigma Century. Every wall, turret, and defensive placement matters as your presence attracts increasingly aggressive waves of mutated threats. The question is simple: will you and your squad be ready when the swarm arrives?

Watch the new gameplay and demo reveal trailer here
Survive Sigma Century
In Symbiosis, players crash-land on the hostile, procedurally generated alien world of Sigma Century as an A.S.T.R.A, an elite guardian tasked with protecting a scientific expedition cut tragically short. With your ship downed by a mysterious electromagnetic pulse, you’ll have to scavenge, build, and fight to uncover what happened to the scientists who came before you.
Out in the wild, survival hinges on adapting to harsh environments and mastering both melee and ranged combat as you explore increasingly dangerous biomes. But Sigma Century has been changed. The technology imported by human colonists has warped the planet’s creatures, twisting nature into a relentless force desperate to reclaim its territory.
Key Features
- Base Defense & Swarms – Your technology emits electromagnetic pollution that attracts hostile wildlife. Build, fortify, and hold your ground as swarms escalate in size and ferocity.
- Exploration – Traverse diverse alien environments, each more brutal and unpredictable the farther you venture from your crash site.
- Base Building – Gather and refine resources to expand your fortress and unlock advanced defenses and automated systems capable of fending off the planet’s anger.
- Boss Battles – Master your role, adapt your gear, and coordinate with allies to topple colossal symbiotic bosses and uncover the truth behind Sigma Century.
Symbiosis enters Steam Early Access in early 2026, with the first public demo landing on January 26, 2026. Survivors can wishlist Symbiosis on Steam now to keep up with the latest updates, trailers, and playtest opportunities.

| Acclaimed dungeon defense board game Keep the Heroes Out! launches digital version today on PC and Switch Xbox and Meta Quest versions to follow |
| Halifax, Canada, December 9th, 2025 – Board game creator Brueh Games and video game developer YarnCat Games are pleased to announce that their video game adaptation of Luís Brueh’s acclaimed strategy board game Keep the Heroes Out! is out today on PC and Switch for $19.99 / €15.49 / £18.50. Xbox and Meta Quest versions will follow thereafter. Having raised over 22x its Kickstarter goal last year, Keep the Heroes Out! is an asymmetric, cooperative dungeon defense game for 1-4 players where you play as the monsters protecting their hard-earned treasures against invading hordes of “heroes” trying to steal it. This digital rendition of Keep the Heroes Out! offers the same asymmetric, co-op dungeon defense gameplay as its tabletop counterpart with a bevy of added extras. |
| The original board game version of Keep the Heroes Out! was a massive success, selling over 70,000 copies since its launch in 2022. It became a Golden Geek Best Cooperative Game Nominee at BoardGameGeek, where it’s currently ranked as the 376th best board game of all time out of a database of roughly 156,000 titles. For thematic games, it’s even ranked as the 67th best board game out there! The digital game brings the tabletop experience faithfully to life, with the same art style and gameplay, only now being that the computer controls the nasty heroes invading our lair. This means you can play solo against the AI, or get a gaming going remotely with your friends from afar. Furthermore, YarnCat Games has boosted the visuals with fluid animation and a tutorial to help onboard new players. There’s never been an easier, more convenient way to get into hero thwarting! “The tabletop version of Keep the Heroes Out! has been a runaway success over the past three years, and we wanted to create a more convenient way for people to play with their friends remotely, or embark upon a solo campaign against the computer,’” said Luís Brueh, Founder of Brueh Games. “Thanks to YarnCat Games, that vision is finally a reality! We’re excited to be able to share Keep the Heroes Out! with longtime fans and newcomers alike!” |

| In Keep the Heroes Out!, your goal as a team is to survive going through the Guild deck two times, protecting the treasures in each room. If the main treasure is taken, the game ends in defeat, but if you manage to protect your treasures for long enough, you all win. Monsters may die, which is tragic, but you can always bring them back to the dungeon, so you are never eliminated from the game. However, once the treasure is gone, it’s gone forever. If you’d like to give it a try now, there’s a demo currently on Steam that lets players go through the tutorial and first stage. |

Dont Scream Together

| DON’T SCREAM TOGETHER recovers from a disaster launch to reach 200,000 sales in seven days |
| Despite launching to mostly negative reviews, the game became a real redemption story |
| Manchester, UK – December 10th, 2025 – DON’T SCREAM TOGETHER has sold more than 200,000 copies in its first week on Steam, but Digital Cybercherries, the team behind the viral action figure shooter Hypercharge: Unboxed, say the milestone is not the whole story. For them, the real achievement is how the team came together after a difficult launch. At release, many players ran into major technical issues that affected the game’s core mechanics, including microphone calibration and in-game audio. Digital Cybercherries say these problems did not appear during internal testing and only became clear once thousands of players joined at launch. The game opened at 23 percent mostly negative on Steam, which was very difficult for the five-person team. The team say they also underestimated how ambitious the project was from a technical point of view. DON’T SCREAM TOGETHER uses a microphone mechanic as its main system, and while it worked well during development, the move to multiplayer added many new challenges across different setups. They now realise this twist on horror was more complex than they expected once it reached a large and varied audience. |
![]() |
| Instead of stepping back, the team chose to meet players directly. They replied to reviews, released rapid updates, and wrote open messages explaining the problems and the fixes. Players saw the team working, listening and improving the game in real time. This approach helped rebuild trust. One player who posted a negative review later changed it to positive after the team reached out and helped them resolve an issue. Many others have updated their reviews after seeing how quickly the problems were addressed. The Steam rating has climbed from 23 percent mostly negative to nearly 60 percent mixed and continues to rise as more players join. The team say they believe the continued sales and improving review score reflect how players responded to their open and transparent communication. Many players have said this honesty was a key reason they decided to support the game. |
![]() |
| “People do not lose trust because a game has problems. They lose trust when developers pretend those problems are not there. So we decided to face everything head-on,” said Joe Henson, Creative Gameplay and Marketing Director at Digital Cybercherries. “We want to thank everyone who stayed with us, shared feedback and gave us the chance to make things right.” |
![]() |
| The studio says they will continue to work through bugs and improvements and are confident the game will keep recovering as they listen to feedback and nurture it. They add that although the mixed rating and the early issues were difficult to face, they take full responsibility. They would not change the experience, as it taught them lessons they say will make their team better in the long run. DON’T SCREAM TOGETHER is a co op experience about friendship, fear and keeping your voice down. Up to four players try to survive the night by exploring, finding batteries for their camcorders and speaking quietly through a forest that may or may not be haunted. If anyone screams, the whole group restarts. A new mode called Hunted turns loud players into a hunter who can stalk the rest of the group using proximity voice. |
| Key FeaturesUse Proximity Voice Chat to whisper, panic, and argue in real-time; only nearby players can hear youChoose between two modes: scream and restart, or scream and return as the hunterExplore the forest and discover hidden locations, symbols, relics, and secretsFind batteries to power your camcorder and keep it runningDynamic scares make every playthrough feel newTime only moves when you do; keep movingMicrophone may flag laughing, coughs, sneezes, burps, and farts as a screamA beautiful, relaxing walk in the forest (may contain traps)Some jump scares might be… real?Voice chat may become ASMR |

SpaceSlog
Today we have some exciting news! Firstly, we would like to announce the Steam Early Access release date, which is set for April 3rd 2026. We also have a new update coming on Friday and showcase some highlights below.
To celebrate, from Friday for the following week the game will be 10% off on the Epic Games Store and we will be making the game available on Itch.io for anyone that wants to purchase a DRM version of the game. This will also be released on Friday 12th.
What is SpaceSlog?
SpaceSlog is a challenging and unique spaceship and colony simulator that focuses on shipbuilding, crew interaction, and exploration. Inspired by games such as Rimworld, Starship Theory, Dwarf Fortress and X-COM, as well as iconic media such as FireFly, Stargate Universe and The Expanse.
You can find our steam page here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2133570/SpaceSlog/
Update highlights
Optimisations
Every update we continue to work on optimisations and this update has been no different. As an example, we noticed some hiccups in certain situations whilst playing. It turned out some AI functions in some specific instances were taking 170ms on my relatively fast PC. After some changes I managed to get this down to less than 1ms. So some big improvements in this one.
New Lessons/tutorial
SpaceSlog is a complex game and many people have been struggling being unable to figure out how to progress or decipher what everything does. We have tried to rectify this by first updating all descriptions to be more, well descriptive. But to also add a new lessons system which will teach you how to do things as you press various menus, objects and buttons. This is in addition to the previously added hint alerts that appear at the bottom right of the screen.
We hope people will now find it much easier to play SpaceSlog.

Ranged combat
We have finally added ranged combat with a range of features (no pun intended). We have a cover system where pawns will lean out from behind objects to shoot and lean back in to reload. When in space you are less likely to hear the sounds of gunshots but would possibly feel vibrations instead, we have tried to mimic this by changing how gunshots sound when pawns are out in space, as opposed to on a ship, or later on a planet surface. Each gun has different sounds and characters and you will want to use whatever best suits the current situation. Its also worth noting, its probably not the best idea to shoot firearms inside a sealed cabin or around highly volatile materials.
