Hey everyone hows it going? Today I wanna talk to you about Empire in Decay, but first I wanna thank the team at Siesta Games for giving me access to there current demo build so I could check it out so let’s dive in.

What is Empire in Decay well according to the steam page its a deck builder and a rougelite now if you know my history I love rougelites as for deck builders not so much but this game doesn’t it very well that its not an issue for me but I think the best part of this game is the fact it uses the chess formula as you play and the animations alone this team is killing it.

So the game is a chess game you have your pawns Knights bishops and kings and your goal is to wipe out the enemy and survive there waves. Now the rougelite aspect comes into terms on the map where you have different paths to take and you have a bunch of spots to visit some spots are for gambling others give you the chance to pick a card to add to your deck so you can kick more ass.
Now the one thing that made me fall in love with the game ever since seeing it on twitter is the piece models and there animations seeing the pawns decimate the other pieces or the knights throwing double axes at you is top tier.

I also love that the whole dev team are huge warhammer fans and you can tell in there design even earning the nickname Warhammer from Temu.

I wont spoil anymore cause this is one game that deserves to be played it releases in July there is a demo out now on steam so check it out again thank you to siesta games take care and game on
