Hotel Architect DEMO

So the playtest i was a part of only had Gothenburg, this demo opened up Santorini which offered hot temperatures, the info title for Santorini said it’s beautiful surroundings and warm climate Santorini is the perfect place for relaxing a beautiful paradise island, so it offers a variety of rewards the big one being Paris unlocked with different guest archetypes then Gothenburg you will be kept on your toes more then before this demo was fun just like the playtest I was a part of and only leaves me craving a full release I can’t wait for the full experience as hotel architect is sure to be a massive hit with the sim building community.

If you wanna know more check out my post about the hotel architect playtest it offers more insight to the game.

Car Manufacture

Hey guys so I started playing this game called car manufacture i saw a YouTube video on it once and fell in love and wa Ted to try it out for myself.

So it’s a car business builder so far I’ve been doing free play I pick a state to start and off to the races so in the game you have a lot to do first you gotta build your warehouse where you build the cars then you need a research department to find blueprints of different models best part you get to name the cars you discover I love it makes you feel like a real car maker after that you need a sales office to show case the car you are working on and to sell this is where you get to price the car and release it to the public I love the small details to these things watching your sales people negotiate with customers is awesome specially when you see the green numbers floating up from just buying a car.

The game also has a big research tree this is a big focus of the game it’s how you unlock more workers training rooms and equipment as well as repair stations paint booths and so much more for the little bit of time.ive spent playing on free play I’ve gotten a good hang of it but this game really makes you think twice with every move I’m playing at 2 times speed and have humans for builders you can get robots but I’m partial to hard work and taking honor in your craft also when your starting out your sales team is hit or miss people will complain cars to expensive or the sales man was rude it really feels like your in your own world trying to balance your money and make sure you don’t go under I can’t count how many times I took out loans just to stay afloat but now I have a steady income different varieties and good workers.

I still have plenty to unlock to help improve my staff there’s training items that level them up as you go so it’s good to invest in decent staff in the start and then train the rest when you get to that point, the research tree is huge it has 23 tiers so far of cars to unlock and even with 4 research stations at once it’s slow then you gotta pick what cars you wanna showcase and sell there’s some areas that I wish had more room then others your limited to 6 show cases I think so you gotta make sure the car you put there is worth it. I haven’t unlocked robotics yet but it is an option that I’ll look into later on for now my mechanics are safe and have good employment.

I’ve reached a point where my research has slowed down a lot i don’t know if that’s cause the game is missing stuff or if I’m going to fast i have 4 research tables.

The game has the ability to train workers but I’ve noticed the only worker that doesn’t have any training are the drivers which is a bit messed up in my opinion I do enjoy watching my workers get better at there jobs so I hope they add some for the drivers, expansion kinda seems pointless you can pretty much do everything in a small area my factory has room to make 7 cars but my sales floor only let’s me display 6 models which is a bummer so I have 2 factory stations making 1 car which is my most expensive one. You max out workers at 100 which is ok but more need to be added specially if you wanna make a huge factory some upgrades on the tree feel pointless after a while and are sorta just a waste of money in my opinion I wanna see more upgrades that are actually useful.

I did come across my first issue I was testing out a robot arm and everything was ok at first but then it stopped working and no matter what I did it wouldn’t work so I sold it and went back to good old human labor.

I wish you had more save slots but you don’t it’s just 1 save profile so if you wanna start a new game you lose your old stuff at least that’s how it seems to me I have to do more checking on that I’ll update down the line.

The game is fun offers a good amount of things for what’s available but once you get 1 or 2 popular cars your making money and then it kinda feels empty I’m at the point where even if I expanded the property it’s pointless cause of how much money I’m making I hope the game adds a lot more stuff I’ll be keeping an eye on future updates but that’s all for now everyone take care and game on.

Pokemon GO

Pokemon go is probably the most popular mobile game out there and the closest you will ever feel to being a real life pokemon trainer since you play the game outside exploring in hopes of finding other pokemon to add to your collect.

I’ve played this game since day one I loved the concept I’ve always wished pokemon were real and this was as close as I could get starting out with gen one and slowly other generations were added to the game. So I’ve seen a lot of the games growths from adding mega evolutions to raids and gyms but lately the game has been feeling like such a chore that I’ve lost almost all my interest in playing it.

Recently they added dynamax forms which if you played sword and shield on the Nintendo switch you will be familiar with this concept but of course instead of making it a one to one straight from the game they decide to make it so that the dynamax pokemon are strictly available from dynamax raids which is bullshit cause in the game itself you could dynamax anyone the power came from the wrist band but Niantic couldn’t be assed to match the concept no they made dynamax Hotspot raids making it so you can only use the mons u get from the hotspots so of course now you gotta grind again waste candies and stardust all over instead of giving us a break and letting us use what we have then the first free dynamax pokemon you get is a fucking wooloo a damn sheep that isn’t even meta relevant come on Niantic do better.

Another thing the community has been asking for is let us trash the eggs we don’t want many players like myself included don’t spend money on the game we are strictly free to play and get coins from defending gyms so we are stuck with the free incubator which isn’t a bad thing but you can’t get good eggs until you hatch what you have like come on let us delete eggs so we can focus on the eggs we really want. Another thing let us delete the quest we don’t wanna finish you know how hard some of the rocket missions are they suck and are hard to do since they match to your current level adding a delete feature isn’t that hard Niantic. The one thing I would love to see added are the other organizations it’s always team rocket yes I get it there the main villains but what about magma and aqua or plazma hello make the missions more fun add others so we can fight them don’t give us the same recycled trash under a new name.

I used to love this game but Niantic has become so greedy they don’t care about making this game good all they care about is milking cash from players and thanks to big pogo youtubers like mystic7 and jtgilly to name some they will always have a cash cow it’s thanks to youtubers that Niantic has ruined the game specially for the free to play crowd the rural crowd I hope this game changes for the better but I doubt it will.

Thank you guys for stopping by check out some other post thank you and game on.

The Wandering Village

First off I would like to thank Stray Fawn studio for the code to review this awesome game lets get started.

The Wandering Village is a city-building simulation game on the back of a giant, wandering creature. Build your settlement and form a symbiotic relationship with the colossus. Will you survive together in this hostile, yet beautiful post-apocalyptic world, contaminated by poisonous plants? This is the synopsis the steam page has for this game but it is so much more.

My first play through I did on easy mainly because I wanted to grasp as much of the game as I could and thankfully the tutorial also helps you learn the basics of the game to get you started but then the game stops holding your hand and releases you like a momma bird pushing you out the nest except this nest is a world ready to ruin you every step of the way. The survival aspect is very well done and if you’re not paying attention and staying ahead of the curve it can and will cost you.

As soon as the game starts you see your people traversing the land in hopes of finding a new home until they come across a majestic marvel of a creature called an Onbu, this wonderful creature is the last of his kind, a dinosaur that travels the land in search of… well honestly I dont know what our friend is searching for but he is one awesome take to add to the city building games. So your people climb aboard him and make him their new home as his flat back is the perfect place to start a village. Now I must say my people survived 105 days before disaster took them all.

The next thing you will notice is the map consist of different biomes from grassy plains to harsh deserts to toxic lands. Those are the only ones I saw in my game I’m sure there’s many more biomes that I didn’t find or are yet to be added but I can’t wait since the biomes make up a huge portion of the challenge to the game. The the deserts harsh sunlight dries up your water and makes it harder for any crops to grow, toxic lands add a poison effect that will hurt Onbu if he lays down on them grassy lands are prefered as they offer the most balance to the village so you can grow crops and gain water to help plant more things.

The village also has a vast variety of jobs to keep it functioning and you would think you could do with out one but the devs have made sure one job helps out another job and so forth. A great example is the decomtaminators. They are special workers whose only job is to cure the ground of any and all toxic plants and keep them from spreading but the workers will fall into a poison state from working which is where the herbalist and doctors come into play as you use the herbs to cure poison so making sure you have herbs is definitely a must. Then you have worker huts which you use to assign the workers to be general workers or to specifically be gatherers, builders, havesters, or carriers so paying attention to each job will help maximize the environment around them.

The map is another place where you will spend some time on as you unlock scavengers to send off to find knowledge or materials to help your people as well as paying attention to the path to see what is ahead to help you prepare as best as you can. The map is also where you will find wandering nomads to add more people to your village but they will also come with their own problems such as hunger or poisoning so be mindful of the people you save they may need more saving than just a new home.

The game has a lot of amazing things going on for it and it’s truly a breath of fresh air to the city building genre but I did find a few things that I felt could use improvment or be added into the game which I’ll discuss below.

The first is adding a trust indicator for the Onbu. You see you’re able to direct the Onbu or give him orders but in order for that to happen you must gain his trust but the game offers no visual indication of trust so that you can tell how well things are going. For me my Onbu didn’t start listening till day 101 which was a bummer as all the biomes around me were harsh so I didn’t have many options direction wise. Thankfully I got him to run through some of the poison clouds to not get too affected.

Another one I would like to see added is maybe an end goal, some sacred place where the Onbu can rest forever and we can live in peace. I didn’t find any clues or paths during my travels just aimless wandering which I’m sure the devs have an endgame goal in site but for now there’s nothing that points that way.

One that I would love to see is maybe different Onbus during the start of every new game, a random Onbu is shown and that’s your new home. I’m sure this could be a possibility but for now Ima say it’s just a wish I have to see added later on.

I would like a mini map in my opinion. It would help so you’re not in the huge map so much. I would also like to see a bigger map option that shows all the paths you have traveled to get a better idea of where you have been.

I would like to know what type of land expansion they plan on adding or if they are gonna ask players what they would like to see added cause I personally would like to see a water biome in the game, seeing the Onbu walking through water would be cool.

The game also uses a research tree that helps you unlock the buildings as well as new orders for the Onbu to hopefully listen to. I i hope they add a lot more buildings considering there’s so much to do and unlock. I can’t wait to see what they add next.

As for endgame I feel this set up offers a massive amount of possibilities so I’m hopeful that the end game will be talked about in the weeks to come.

All in all the wandering village is an amazing city building sim that adds new flavors to the recipe of a basic genre and I for one can’t wait to see what becomes of this game and I highly recommend everyone give it a shot, you just might fall in love like I did. Thank you again to Stray Fawn studios for the review code. Thank you all for stopping by, take care and game on.

Snowrunner

Hello everyone hows it going today i wanna talk to you about a beautiful gem ive found called snowrunner, yes i understand the game has been out for a while now but i recently bought it during the steam sale and wanted to share my experience. Enjoy.

The Game

So snowrunner is an exploration driving adventure game yes i call it adventure cause each drive you take is an adventure in itself. So you explore the wilderness finding paths to get from point a to b as well as discover some awesome vehicles and land marks in the game which are worth finding. But the game is more then that.

Difficulty

I wanna say i went into this game blind no previous knowledge not even a youtube video i wanted a fresh start and boy did i get it this game really puts everything you know about driving to the test and in a big part your patience is tested each time you take a quest or go for a drive. I’ve played many simulation games but this was the first where every path roadway mud puddle dirt road made you think and watch how you drove threw them and i must say damn the physics of the game are insane. The mud puddles bog you down the waters ruin your engine theres so much thinking you have to take into account that i love how realistic this driving sim game is truly fantastic.

World

So you start in the backwoods of michigan and can move to the frozen landscapes of alaska or russia and a few other spots if you buy the dlc for the game. Each surrounding is beautiful as time passes the sun changing your views truly a picture perfect game for taking pictures of your best views.

Vehicles

The game has a healthy selection of cars to earn as well as upgrades to find and there is a decent roster added if you purchase the dlc passes adding more monster rigs to help aid you in completing these task.

Fun factor

The game is fun but it quickly becomes obvious this is one of those games where the full fun factor is better received by playing in multi-player mode with your friends you can still have fun alone but its obvious pretty fast that the game is more enjoyable with others and its one of those that makes it painfully obvious.

Final thoughts

All in all the game is a great time killer to play and highly enjoyable if you have friends with you can also drive around finding scenic spots to take some killer pictures and upload them i recommend this game specially if you can find a few friends to play you will all enjoy it together thank you all have a great day and game on.
