Halifax, Canada, December 9th, 2025 – Board game creator Brueh Games and video game developer YarnCat Games are pleased to announce that their video game adaptation of Luís Brueh’s acclaimed strategy board game Keep the Heroes Out! is out today on PC and Switch for $19.99 / €15.49 / £18.50. Xbox and Meta Quest versions will follow thereafter.

Having raised over 22x its Kickstarter goal last year, Keep the Heroes Out! is an asymmetric, cooperative dungeon defense game for 1-4 players where you play as the monsters protecting their hard-earned treasures against invading hordes of “heroes” trying to steal it. This digital rendition of Keep the Heroes Out! offers the same asymmetric, co-op dungeon defense gameplay as its tabletop counterpart with a bevy of added extras.

The original board game version of Keep the Heroes Out! was a massive success, selling over 70,000 copies since its launch in 2022. It became a Golden Geek Best Cooperative Game Nominee at BoardGameGeek, where it’s currently ranked as the 376th best board game of all time out of a database of roughly 156,000 titles. For thematic games, it’s even ranked as the 67th best board game out there!

The digital game brings the tabletop experience faithfully to life, with the same art style and gameplay, only now being that the computer controls the nasty heroes invading our lair. This means you can play solo against the AI, or get a gaming going remotely with your friends from afar. Furthermore, YarnCat Games has boosted the visuals with fluid animation and a tutorial to help onboard new players. There’s never been an easier, more convenient way to get into hero thwarting!

In Keep the Heroes Out!, your goal as a team is to survive going through the Guild deck two times, protecting the treasures in each room. If the main treasure is taken, the game ends in defeat, but if you manage to protect your treasures for long enough, you all win. Monsters may die, which is tragic, but you can always bring them back to the dungeon, so you are never eliminated from the game. However, once the treasure is gone, it’s gone forever.

Dungeon Rampage

Hello everyone hows it going? Today we talk about dungeon rampage a little indie title that expects you to you guessed it rampage in a dungeon so let’s talk about it but first a huge thank you to gamebreaking studios for sending me the key its always appreciated let’s dive in.

Dungeon rampage has you fighting through different levels against hordes of monsters the game would fit in with horde games if it had more monsters. You make your way through the dungeon map finding money and xp stars along the way as well as mana cups to fill your mana.

After you make your way through and exit the level you arrive at the stat screen were your xp is added up it tells you how many enemies you killed and shows you any chest you grab along the way at the main menu you have a training area for stats a shop a tavern and the main mission area and thats it really nothing grand sadly. In the tavern your able to get new characters as long as you have the crystals for them which you gain 5 everytime you level up.
And thats about all the good of the game cause right from the start you can tell this game wasnt designed for pc which is where I played it on you see Dungeon Rampage used to be a mobile game and what they did was take out the pay part and left the rest of the grind which you will notice the game was designed to spend money with how much the characters and items cost and the fact ypu get so little money from each run but to open a chest its 800 coin or more per chest. Honestly they needed to spend more time with balancing stuff in the game between prices and rewards the pay to win aspect is still very much visible during game play.

Do I have anything bad to say about the game no cause even though it was a mobile pay to win game I still had my fun with it and in the end thats what matters did you have fun and I did I would love to see some work done on the pricing of items I can tell you right away many players will leave the game if the rewards are way to far out of reach and right now they are.

DeadCore Redux

DON’T SCREAM TOGETHER recovers from a disaster launch to reach 200,000 sales in seven days
Despite launching to mostly negative reviews, the game became a real redemption story
Manchester, UK – December 10th, 2025  –  DON’T SCREAM TOGETHER has sold more than 200,000 copies in its first week on Steam, but Digital Cybercherries, the team behind the viral action figure shooter Hypercharge: Unboxed, say the milestone is not the whole story. For them, the real achievement is how the team came together after a difficult launch.

At release, many players ran into major technical issues that affected the game’s core mechanics, including microphone calibration and in-game audio. Digital Cybercherries say these problems did not appear during internal testing and only became clear once thousands of players joined at launch. The game opened at 23 percent mostly negative on Steam, which was very difficult for the five-person team. The team say they also underestimated how ambitious the project was from a technical point of view. DON’T SCREAM TOGETHER uses a microphone mechanic as its main system, and while it worked well during development, the move to multiplayer added many new challenges across different setups. They now realise this twist on horror was more complex than they expected once it reached a large and varied audience.
Instead of stepping back, the team chose to meet players directly. They replied to reviews, released rapid updates, and wrote open messages explaining the problems and the fixes. Players saw the team working, listening and improving the game in real time. This approach helped rebuild trust. One player who posted a negative review later changed it to positive after the team reached out and helped them resolve an issue. Many others have updated their reviews after seeing how quickly the problems were addressed. The Steam rating has climbed from 23 percent mostly negative to nearly 60 percent mixed and continues to rise as more players join.

The team say they believe the continued sales and improving review score reflect how players responded to their open and transparent communication. Many players have said this honesty was a key reason they decided to support the game.
“People do not lose trust because a game has problems. They lose trust when developers pretend those problems are not there. So we decided to face everything head-on,” said Joe Henson, Creative Gameplay and Marketing Director at Digital Cybercherries. “We want to thank everyone who stayed with us, shared feedback and gave us the chance to make things right.”
The studio says they will continue to work through bugs and improvements and are confident the game will keep recovering as they listen to feedback and nurture it. They add that although the mixed rating and the early issues were difficult to face, they take full responsibility. They would not change the experience, as it taught them lessons they say will make their team better in the long run.

DON’T SCREAM TOGETHER is a co op experience about friendship, fear and keeping your voice down. Up to four players try to survive the night by exploring, finding batteries for their camcorders and speaking quietly through a forest that may or may not be haunted. If anyone screams, the whole group restarts. A new mode called Hunted turns loud players into a hunter who can stalk the rest of the group using proximity voice.

At the start of each round, players bet how many points they think they’ll amass, then play their cards round-by-round aiming to hit that exact number. Score too high or too low, and you’ll have to take a virtual shot for each point you’re off from your prediction. Hit four shots and… you’re out. Capotado!

Get dealt a bad hand? Don’t worry, as messing with your friends is a valid strategy. Play your special cards at the right time to twist the odds, sabotage their bets, or turn a sure win into chaos. Victory is nice, but laughing at your friend’s downfall is even nicer. Capote! is all about soaking in the lazy Sunday vibes and having a good time with a bit of unpredictability.

“One of the great things about playing drinking games at a bar is that you can infuse whatever you’re playing with your own house rules, so we wanted to add customization options like that to Capote!,” said Gabriel Guedes, Game Designer at Luski Game Studio. “This is just the beginning though, as we’ll be adding even more modes in the future. We’re teasing upcoming Blackjack and Trucco modes as well, so stay tuned for more!”
