Sand Raiders of Sophie

Hello everyone today i wanna talk to you about a game that has been on my radar since I saw my friend in the playtest and that game is called Sand Raiders of Sophie I also wanna give a huge thank you to tinybuild for sending me a copy of the game its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in.

First my biggest massive gripe with the game is absolutely no fucking tutorial nothing at all nothing to tell you how to play how to set up or even how to build your walker nothing they just throw you in the deep end and expect you to swim and that would be fine except not everyone got invited to the playtest so maybe a tutorial ok not everyone was in the playtest and the players that were already have a huge advantage seriously.

Now that thats out of the way onto the game sand is a multiplayer battleroyal extraction shooter game I know thats a mouthful and honestly its not bad it does things in a way that even though its an extraction shooter its not annoying.
Now your able to squad up in groups of 6 max or any variation from 2 to 6 theres solo play as well for my solo hunters but good luck, now at the start of your game you choose your character choose what gear you wanna risk losing pick a walker and off you go it sounds simple but its not you need to pick guns ammo and armor for yourself but you also need to pick guns ammo and repair kits for your walker so if your trying to rush and get back in the game quick you might miss some stuff.

The map is huge a nice barren desert with areas to explore and npcs to battle for loot but your not alone as theres other players that can ruin your game if your not paying attention which is crucial for survival.

Ive had about 6 matches in total ive spent more time in there discord trying to find a group then playing the game as I dont have many friends who have the game.

The game has had its fair share of problems since launch but the devs are working hard daily to combat all the issues that are popping up and for that I give them major props.

Sand is a fun game with massive potential and i can see it being huge with the right people but it needs work and it needs a way to be more welcoming to new players or they wont survive yes theres youtube but you shouldn’t need to rely on other people to do a games job.

I cant wait to see whats in store for sand as time progresses I look forward to the journey thank you all for stopping by take care and game on

83

Hello everyone hows it going today I wanna talk to you about 83 its a military sim trying to break into the space but first huge thank you to Blue Dot Games for sending me a code to check out the game its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in.

So 83 takes place in a world where the cold war went hot its format is 40 vs 40 which is great means there should be a good amount of chaos right well sadly im wrong there’s chaos its just all confusing.

The good about this game is the huge fields holding 80 plus players is awesome it makes the game worth while as there’s supposed to be constant action there’s 2 game modes to choose from Frontline and assault there’s also a tutorial that teaches you how to play, there’s also a server browser which is huge it let’s you find populated games fast so your not waiting around, the squads also have there own set roles so not one position is over filled all great aspects of the game and very well done more games should invest in server browsers it would make games so much faster.

But for every good there’s bad as well the graphics seemed a bit muddy the biggest issue I was having is not seeing any enemies even when they were shooting at me worse is the team indicators most of the time didnt show up so you didnt know if you just killed a friendly or not I understand the game is trying to be realistic but you can add indicators it makes it a bit easier to deal with. Another big let down there’s no way to party up with your friends I tried to play with my friend and nothing we had to find a server and both jump in then squad up I feel this is a huge let down as it makes it more time consuming for players trying to play together.

I did talk with other players in world chat and many gave the game positive feedback many felt the game needed to cook longer I for one agree the game needed more time to cook the game has great bones now its up to the devs to build on that foundation I look forward to seeing improvements to the game.

If you wanna pick it up the games on steam right now for 29.99 give it a shot and let me know what you think yourself thank you all for stopping by take care and game on.

Robot Space Frenzy

Hey guys hows it going today we are talking about Robot Space Frenzy but first huge thanks to Retro Trash Games for reaching out and sending me the key its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in.

So this game is a tribute to old school shooters like Doom so if you played doom style games you will fit right at home here. You the player are stuck on a space station where all the robots have turned into homicidal maniacs, as the last human left can you survive and turn them off.

The graphics for this are right out of an old school console but they look great the colors keep everything grounded so no harshness while you play which when your looking at a screen taking care of your eyes becomes a priority.

The game offers a variety of weapons and levels for you to progress through until you reach the end… or is it the end. Some weapons work way better then others my favorite was the shotgun cause honestly it could one shot certain bots. The levels definitely take some getting used to i had to back track so much cause everything looks the same and honestly with no way of marking anything its easy to get lost thankfully the bodies stay behind so you know what way you came from.

This game is an indie tribute to the doom shooters of yester year and is fun and simple easy to learn hard to master and for 4.99 you do not lose out on a big price tag its worth it give it a shot and enjoy thank you all for stopping by take care and game on
