Hey guys today I wanna talk to you about Adaptory but first huge thanks to Stormcloak games and indie.io for sending me a copy its greatly appreciated.
Now i love colony sim games ive played a bunch over my years but ive never played one as punishing as Adaptory. This game is clearly inspired by oxygen not included even tho i never played it im sure its easier then this.
So the game opens up with you picking the first 4 people which im assuming you get more as you progress you load in and you crash land on an alien planet your ship is a mess and you gotta move quick as oxygen is running out. Now thankfully there’s a bit of a tutorial that shows you the basics and what to do and thankfully the tutorial stays there for every run which is a huge plus for me but it does lack some info with issues ive encountered during my run more on that later.
So you start digging underground getting materials to start building and thankfully the main material is dirt as you build everything from dirt dont ask me how you get metal from dirty but you do now as your people are building there living against time the oxygen bar is small and runs out quick sadly it recovers slowly which im guessing is there way of getting as close as possible to realism.
Soon your tasked with building a research desk to unlock power and other important things thankfully all material needs again are simple just dirt which I like as it keeps some stress off during early stages but your in space how do you get power theres 2 options solar panels and a small coal plant you can use both well actually your forced to use both as solar panels dont really produce enough energy as for the coal plant as long as you have coal your golden which you find while digging underground.
The game offers special views to monitor the oxygen and power grids but honestly it doesn’t show much in my opinion just an overlay of where stuff is.
Now ive played a few hours into this game over 15 runs and every single time I end up losing to all my idiots dying, yes I called them idiots cause honestly they are they will mope around outside in the void of space sometimes not moving and dying because they couldn’t be assed to move to safety. By best run thanks to RNGesus I was able to get water pumps and oxygen generators going but then what even using the over lay you see where the oxygen is at but it barely moves or expands this is were my mood starts going sour.
Even with a tutorial after maybe 5 minutes the game just stops it doesn’t expand on oxygen generators or water pumps after you unlock them and build it doesn’t tell you or show you how to fully utilize stuff to get the maximum benefit and fine I get it the devs want you to figure shit out but if your not giving players an actual tutorial run people will get frustrated and quit and I did after over 23 runs of just dying over and over I gave up even with everything I learned it still wasnt enough my biggest gripe is at one point a warning icon pops up saying cant operate due to pressure ok how do I fix it where is the info and the game gives you nothing what in the actual fuck am I supposed to magically know what to do no its the devs job during tutorial to show players everything and they cant even be assed to give a proper tutorial.
All that aside yes the game is fun and if your a fan of builder style games then check this out and if you’ve played oxygen not included then you might have no problems here but clearly this game doesn’t want new players and its sad I really wanna keep playing it but im not gonna risk punching my monitor thanks to how frustrated this game made me.
Thats all for today guys thank you for stopping by take care and game on.

Rouge Night
Hello everyone today I wanna talk to you about a sweet little indie game called Rouge Night but first huge thank you to Grey November Games for sending me a copy its greatly appreciated it now let’s dive in.
The first issue i had with the game was a bit game breaking I opened a cave door and everytime I went in the game crashed on me I reported it to the devs on there discord as another player had the same issue they told me to give them some time which I did the next date an update went live for the game fixing the door that really impressed me the devs were quick responsive and didnt brush me off they made me feel like my worth as a player was worth more then gold and it felt awesome another time i was experiencing lag and crashing talked to the devs again and after some back and forth they were able to recreate the issues and send out a fix this is how devs keep gamers by talking and showing up for them and I for one will definitely stay, now the reason I started with this is cause I wanna show gamers out there that devs do listen.
Those are literally the only issue’s ive had with the game which is an rougelike sandbox open world survival crafting and ima throw in rpg cause you do missions lol but yeah you start the game and talk to a spirit fox which guides you with your missions telling you where to go you make your way out of a forest to this castle city thats in ruins as the zombies destroy everything, now im not a huge fan of zombies I hate horror games but I gave this one a shot the graphic style didnt make anything over scary like in an actual horror game on the contrary the zombies looked adorable and made me wanna fight them all even more.
The game offers a good variety of weapons from a sword to daggers to a spear and great sword and everything else the game offers cant spoil it all. Most weapons are found on enemies or on the ground so make sure you fight alot cause you will need to.The map is big and there’s lots to explore and plenty of missions to do i think there were 8 pages of missions but im sure more will be added down the line.
You also get to build a house where survivors you find will gather yes there’s other living people in the game thankfully, I did realize that when you die you lose everything and restart over I havent had a chance to ask about that so ill update if I get to ask. there’s also some pretty intense bosses as well first one I found was a giant spider and boy do I hate spiders.
This game is fun its simple its not very demanding or taxing on your system and honestly it deserves more eyes on it I cant wait to see how the game turns out and what more they add to it thank you all for stopping by take care and game on.

Dwarves glory death and loot
First off huge thank you to Hamma Studios for sending me a copy of the game its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in shall we.
Today we talk about Dwarves glory death and loot an auto battler thats available on the nintendo switch and steam, I was fortunate enough to play on the nintendo switch and i love games like these cause they fit perfectly on the platform.
So the game is an auto battler meaning the game does all the fighting for you which im fine with considering your army is made up of 10 awesome dudes fighting for glory and loot.
The game has 3 difficulties to choose from loot being easy mode and focusing on loot then there’s glory which is normal where you start to focus on staying alive as well and then there’s death which is hard mode if you lose any people during combat thats it there gone. Thankfully for your initial run the game does teach you the ropes and everything is super easy to learn and grasp.
Since I was on the switch version to move around between different menus it was all wired to the right joy stick which made everything a breeze you had the store and inventory tabs then you had the recruitment tab for new fighters then the fighting tab which let you choose which fight you wanted to proceed with, at no point did i feel overwhelmed by the menu set up like some games tend to be.
The gear is easy to work with once you unlock the forge you upgrade and make gear better at a 3 to 1 ratio there in ore in the game but I haven’t figured out how to use it yet.
This game is a blast its simple and fun easy to pick up and hard to put down and considering it made it to 1.0 release this game has a bright future and its one I highly recommend and if you have a switch console definitely pick it up this game feels right at home in handheld mode ive had fun with the hours ive put into it and cant wait to see what’s next for the future of the game thank you all for stopping by take care and game on.
Bladesong
The level of detail in this game is insane and makes me feel like an actual blade Smith not just a gamer playing a game.
You start the game in a dream state you pick your character type male or female then what your life was like your knowledge and so forth and yes it actually helps with the progression in the story as some choices depend on certain skills you have your toughness and knowledge being some as well as finesse, after you make your choices the game opens up into the tutorial and even the tutorial tells you pay attention or you wont learn so please pay attention.
The first thing it goes over it the camera movement which im not a fan of why would you stick a camera binding to the press of the scroll wheel makes no sense at all but thats just my 2 cents. Next your looking at the anvil and the process begins. The tutorial starts by telling you how the lengthen the metal that will become the blade each blade has a sweet spot in length and the info box on the top left tells you everything that is e,petted of the sword you are making and boy does shit get complex as you progress. Then you gotta flatten the blade and widen it these 3 steps are the most basic of everything your gonna be doing so make sure you watch everything closely cause if you mess up you will have to start over and fix the sword properly.
Next the game will show you how to put a tip on the sword and this one is probably the most trickiest of them all as you can over tip the sword to the point its almost a needle which some customers will want that.
Then comes the sharpness of the blade which is the easiest to do you see a blue line will pop up on the blade and will move until it hits the proper spot then it will change to orange when you have reached the exact point intended honestly best guide line ever.
The whole left side of the screen while your at the anvil is your info bar as well as the square that pops up on the right also shows some details as well.
After the tutorial of making the game shows you a small fixing tutorial cause not only will you be making blades you will be fixing them as well. The amount of detail and information in this tutorial is insane and well done could they have added more sure but it might have messed with the flow of the game.
After the game drops you into the story of the game where you are awoken at a tent with a forge outside in a tent filled camp of people trying to enter a city for safety. You will try to get in as well but no luck sadly.
This is where the game opens up where every choice is both good and bad where everyone is watching you and where one wrong move can mean death for your character.
The economy is rough not only must you find supplies but you also gotta find vendors and boy the first vendor you find is rough considering this game takes place during medieval times people were scared of plagues and everything else.
This game is amazing the detail the feel of making a sword the hilts and everything in between i am so glade to have experienced this game and I cant wait tonsee what they do with it in the future so if you wanna feel like a real bladesmith pick up Bladesong you wont be disappointed, thank you all for coming by take care and game on.
Super Alloy Crush Demo
Super alloy crush is what you get when old school megaman is a huge inspiration, I wanna thank the team at Alloy Mushroom for sending me a demo code to check out let’s talk about it.
So the demo is short in total it took me 51 minutes to beat both characters which isnt bad but I kinda expected a bit more but its a demo so I understand.
Super Alloy Crush is a rougelite brawler that takes huge inspiration from classic megaman side scrollers. You play as 1 of 2 characters Kelly or Muu to battle evil doers. Kelly is the range character using guns, grenades and other specials to dish out damage he wasnt so bad but I couldn’t mesh with him I died once in the demo using him but that was mostly do to my own carelessness. His gun play is solid but you will struggle with boss battles considering all the jumping you have to do. Muu is the close combat expert and my favorite of the 2 characters. She gives off the classic wolverine aggressive feel with her play style using what im guessing are plasma claws or electric not sure hard to tell she charges into combat driven by combos and damage and made the demo much easier then her counter part Kelly.
During the demo the levels felt amazing the combat felt solid the variety in enermies was great and the boss battles were intense as enemies spawned to help the boss.
The demo closed out with a bit of the bullet hell rougelite im used to and it was fun I had a blast and cant wait to experience more of this game when it releases.
So if your a fan of megaman rougelites brawlers and Co op games check out super alloy crush with its awesome crt filters for the classic vibes and its great level exploration this game has huge potential and I cant wait tonsee its release, thank you for stopping by take care and game on.

Blightstone
Hello everyone today we get to talk about Blightstone a dark fantasy turned based action rougelike but first huge thank you to Unfinished Pixel for sending me a review copy its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in.
At first I thought this was a squad based bullet hell game thats was my mistake I didnt read the email properly my mistake but what I got was so much better and a lot more tactical where every move you make is life or death and choices mean everything.
So what is blightstone its an dark medieval fantasy turned based rougelite rpg thats straight from the email so we all know rpg’s have great story and this is no exception and the story starts at the tutorial. Yes thank lord there’s an actual legit tutorial that gives you a break down of the characters how to move what to watch and check every skill. Truly thank you Unfinished Pixel for this and the fact its right at the main menu under its own section meaning you can play it at anytime to brush up is even better in my opinion.
Players will lead a small party of great warriors on a journey that transcends time itself as you must take a living crystal thats bound to you by fate to the end of the world, every run every failure every mistake is another scar that dooms our world to end untimely, but wait every run also is met by a chance at victory which brings a chance at a new build new skills new gear all while the chaotic world around you is swallowed by darkness.
Here’s a small excerpt from the email.
In the world of the Blightstone you’ll find deep strategy, blended seamlessly with roguelike progression. Your mission? To protect the Earthglass Crystal, and deliver it to the Infernal Rift. Only by doing this will you be able to destroy the demon overlord Korghul, and shatter the Blightstone itself.
So that crystal thats follows you around is key to saving the world but can we save it and at what cost you see this is where the game transcends time as everytime you die well I cant spoil it you will have to play to find out.
The combat is great even for a turned based game and even better if the fact the environment works both for you and against you either by having a wall blocking your aim or a fire barrel near the enemy primed for a spell to set it off make sure you study your surroundings before you start the fight every detail is a small aid to victory.
Heros come to your aid along your journey you will find others to aid you in the fight against evil so dont worry your not alone the world will answer.
The map is probably my favorite part you get to choose the path you want theres multiple points of interest and combat and every so often you camp out at night in hopes of healing a bit before you continue.
All in all Unfinished Pixel has a great gem here and the polish is insane the game feels buttery smooth and the story even tho the main good guy pisses me off is interesting and will draw you in to continue playing so pick up blightstone for 15.99 its worth it for the replay ability alone thank you all for stopping by take care and game on.
Tomb of the Bloodletter
A Strategic Roguelike Where Typing Is the Weapon
[California – January 15] – Prepare to enter Tomb of the Bloodletter, a strategic typing roguelike where combat is less about min-maxing builds and more about pulling off the perfect word at exactly the right moment. The game launches on PC via Steam on February 5, 2026, developed by solo developer Ethan’s Secretions, with a demo available now.
YouTube Video.
Tomb of the Bloodletter is a roguelike built entirely around typing, turning the keyboard into an arsenal and every word into a potential weapon. When players enter a floor, Magicks are assigned directly to individual letters, each obeying strange and specific rules. A letter may strike harder when placed at the end of a word, another might restore health, while other Magicks punish certain patterns or combinations, requiring careful consideration of not just what word to spell, but how it is constructed.
The game is structured like a traditional roguelike, with tightly paced, randomized runs lasting around 30 minutes that end in either victory or defeat. Rather than focusing on long-term build optimization, the experience emphasizes the moment-to-moment puzzle each turn presents. Players always have access to their full keyboard, with Magicks shaping how letters behave rather than limiting which words can be played. Success isn’t about having the largest vocabulary, but about tactical combinations, sequencing magick-infused letters at the right time to turn volatile interactions into powerful tools.
Each run sends players into a shifting, cursed tomb as one of four ill-fated grave robbers, each bringing unique quirks and abilities that twist the rules of combat. No matter who enters the tomb, survival is never clean, easy, or guaranteed. Every descent reshapes the dungeon, forcing adaptation as new threats and challenges emerge. The tomb crawls with cursed beasts, deceitful specters, and entities best left unspoken, each handcrafted with unique mechanics that demand clever thinking and precise wordplay to overcome. As runs progress, new Magicks are acquired whether players want them or not, slowly transforming the keyboard into an unstable spellbook that serves as both weapon and liability.
Players can get an early taste of the tomb ahead of launch with a playable demo available now on Steam, featuring the first two grave robbers. Stay up to date by following the developer on Bluesky and joining the official Discord
Gedonia 2
First I wanna thank Kazakov Oleg for sending me a copy of the game its greatly appreciated um let’s dive in i guess.
This review is hard for me to write I wanted to enjoy the game but I just couldn’t enjoy it after a few hours playing it I knew it wasnt for me.
The Good
The game has simple graphics nothing over demanding kinda reminds me a bit like borderlands with the style they used just a bit more matted then over bearing.
The world was great nice and big plenty of beautiful things to see and some mob encounters as well.
The game did recently add another area sadly I wasnt able to reach it since the new area was for players level 22 and above.
Now onto the rest the game starts you out in character creation everything is instanced session based so I had to create my own session to play the game nothing was created before hand, there isnt much of a tutorial either so you get 8 points in character creation to displace among the 4 main stats me I went 2 across the board which is my first mistake but of course the game doesn’t tell you that or give you a hint.
So I started the game and walked around you see floating question marks which I guess is this games form of a tutorial it tells you how to do something which I already figured out before I even got there the first person I come across is a cultist who wants me to join him I refuse but even if u change your mind your locked out of him since you cant chat with him anymore so I pressed forward I couldn’t open the door cause I needed a key and I couldn’t break down the wooden boards cause I wasnt strong enough so then what I had to climb up the dilapidated building until I could manage to get high enough to jump into the next area I dont know if thats how its supposed to be but it was bullshit.
So I continued made my way through the cave found a mysterious group that killed everyone and left me I slowly snuck out and kept going after making it into the new area I was met with a guy who had a mission to kill some zombies finally some action I thought then I found the zombie and well things aren’t what they seemed.
I progressed into the first town with a man named earl who has plenty of attitude who I instantly disliked but I did a mission for him which put me in his good graces and moved me to the next city and more missions which is weird considering my low level and this new area was ment for levels 18 and up so make it make sense for me.
This next area is where I got stuck and kept dying over and over no matter what I tried to do and that honestly killed any hope I had for the game.
I even tried to play in multiplayer but me and my friend couldn’t figure out how to do it there’s no walk through nothing, I get that this game is trying to be hands off but how do you make new players welcomed when you explain nothing this game does nothing to help new players and I cant recommend it one bit even with the low price of 14.99 other games explain there concepts much better, even google was no help cause all it would say is find a red crystal ok where what city what level yes I could have gone into there discord for help but why its the games job to explain stuff to me not some other person.
The combat had a delay between the actions and movement and I would always get hit even after dodging this game needs work maybe down the road ill revisit it but for now ill stay away and you should to take care and game on.
RougeMatch the Extraplanar Invasion on switch
First off huge thank you to starstruck games for sending me a copy of the game its greatly appreciated now let’s talk about it.
I played rougematch on the nintendo switch I was going in expecting a simple match 3 game and boy do I wanna kick my own ass for being so wrong about this game that I dont even know where to start off. So ill try my best.
So the game follows a group of friends that found an old castle thats protected by a magical barrier, one thats no one has been able to enter the friends camp out in the night to regain there energy but the mage thinking they were all powerful snuck off and went into the castle hoping to beat it and get back to there friends before sunrise but boy we’re they wrong, then the paladin of the group rushes after the mage basically leaving our character alone and clueless of what’s going on until we jump in the castle and find a recording of our mage friend leaving instructions on the castle and how to progress so we do.
This game takes match 3 to a whole nother level first the puzzle is laid around you and you use the joy stick to select pieces to try and match up I feel they should have made the joy stick for movement and cross buttons for selecting but I digress so there’s monsters in the castle and if they get close they will attack but you can attack them back by matching 3 pieces or by walking into them but becareful you do have a health bar and stats to play with.
Now you have a mana range and inside that range some matches heal your character so your not screwed in combat thinking your done for when you lose health you can heal thankfully. There are also spells and abilities that help you fight but use up mana like an old school rpg so watch out for everything and pay attention.
Each elemental piece offers different effects when triggered and if near a monster will affect them and maybe even stun them for a bit to help you breath in combat.
You also find magic items that are hidden in wall safes that open up when the room is cleared which is pretty cool since you never know what will drop.
This game has 5 different ways of clearing a room and an objective marker telling you what you need to do so your not going into the rooms blind.
I could go on but this game is huge and has so much you need to learn to play is it easy yeah but it has a learning curve that thankfully isnt to hard and yes the game has a tutorial to tell you how to play. The story is divided up into chapters and sadly im struggling so bad to get through the castle I dont know when ill experience the rest also watch out for bosses there mean huge and kick ass but you gotta play to see how huge.
Again big thank you to star struck games for sending me the key this game is on the switch its called RougeMatch the Extraplanar Invasion check it out and enjoy thank you all for stopping by take care and game on.
