Port of Jumanah PS5 Review

Hello everyone hows it going today i wanna talk to you about Port of Jumanah but first a huge thank you to Red Dune Games for sending me a copy to check out so lets talk about it.

I was sent Port of Jumanah on the PS5 its a fun game simple and easy to learn very similar to cult of the lamb in certain aspects.

So you play as a young pearl diver by the name of Mansour who’s daily life is diving deep into the oceans finding pearls and moving on until one day a giant black clam rises out of the water and releases some black pearls into the world personally i feel this is a pirates reference you know curse of the black pearl but anyways yes the pearls were cursed and things start changing thus your adventure begins.

The game plays like cult of the lamb in terms that you go from room to room clearing out monsters and making your way through the maze until ypu find the exit room which saves your progression and continues the story for you.
The game offers 3 weapons and 3 gadgets to use during ypur adventures as well as cards with power ups and buffs to help you along the way the game is simple and easy to learn and is definitely a good distraction for players of all types again massive thank ypu to Red Dune Games and thank ypu all take care and game on

PixARK

Hello everyone hows it going today we talk about the new dlc for pixark called terracrypt but first I wanna say a huge thank you to SnailGames USA for sending me a copy of the game and dlc to check out so lets talk about it.

Now ive played a variety of survival games but ive never dabbled in anything related to Ark as ive always heard mixed reactions and didnt have anyone to teach me the ropes so when i got pixark I was hoping to finally get some experience in the ark universe even if it was pixal style.

Now the game starts with an option menu letting you pic where you start either the base game or the DLC that the game has available and this even though it lets you skip right to the dlc I didnt really like that option I prefer to go through the base game until I unlock the dlc but I get it they want people to experience everything right away.

So the dlc starts with a flying ship that suddenly gets blasted out of the sky but your escape pod magically lands you in a safe space and this is where the dlc starts you off you grab your stuff and start talking soon enough your off to the races to get underground as the cobaltstar are waiting to attack and destroy you after you make it underground well let’s just say wow this place is huge.

The underground area is massive exploration for me was tough as im not used to pixel games so I was getting stuck on every block trying to jump up and get to where I needed to go.

The introduction missions felt lacking honestly they didnt do enough explaining for my liking and dont take into account that some people have absolutely no history with the game me being a perfect example.

My biggest annoyance with the game was for some reason hitting the tab button would freeze the game then hitting it again opened up what seemed to be a master control input box so u had to hit it a 3rd time to get the game to work again i cant count how many times i would hit it by accident it really was a mood killer.

The dlc is supposed to add 13 new distinct biomes that require lots of thoughts to progress as well as 11 new bosses for you to fight against as well as new creatures underground to tame and use in your adventure.

The game has a lot to offer and the dlc feels like an absolutely new game with how big it is and everything it offers sadly the game just wasnt for me i couldn’t get into a groove with it and I just wasnt having fun even while learning the ropes.

All that aside the game ran great on my pc I didnt have issues no fps drops or crashes which im sure most people probably expect a disaster at launch and judging from the steam reviews thats what happened just give the devs some time to fix this i wanna thank you all for stopping by take care and game on.

Mortal Shell 2

Mortal Shell 2 is my first traditional souls game in a sense of swords and axes are used as well as some magic but before we talk more of my time with the game I wanna thank both Playstack and Charlotte for sending me a key to check out the game its hugely appreciated.

Now i dont have a lot of time in the game like other creators but what i do has is an approach from a souls noob and thats the perspective ill give you.

Now when I say souls noob I mean noob even though ive played elden ring, dark souls, hollow knight and remnant from the ashes i have yet to claim victory over any of those games now your probably wondering ok why did you jump into mortal shell well i am a sucker for a beautiful game and the concept of shells being your i guess you can say armor really caught my attention.

So the game starts with a back story of what happened so great diety fell to the planet and things were good until they weren’t Now your tasked with retrieving what appear to be some massive alien eggs thats the jist of what I got from the cut scene at the start then the game wakes you and its off to the races.

The whole starting area I wanna say it can be between 30 minutes to an hour depending on your skills and how much exploring you do is the tutorial area I admit i died a lot and i raged quit twice but again I suck at these games so once you pass the tutorial the game sets you on a path through some mountains with the camera doing different view points and i gotta say i love this part in the introduction this area leads you to the keep where you will spend most of the game leveling up and finding shit for and its also the starting point to the maps exploration, here you find a good amount of NPCs to talk to and trust me talk to them they have goodies and info you will need.

Once on the ground you begin and like every souls game stamina plays a massive factor in it and well there’s bosses everywhere there’s one literally right around the corner from the first beacon which if anyone played elden ring right when you come out the elevator you have that massive horse jerk its ptsd all over again man.

I played on PC and even though ive heard of other players having problems in my time spent with the game the only issues I had was the game freezing up on me during combat or entering combat and in a souls game thats a huge issue and not something you wanna have when there’s so much on the line.

The game offers a good variety between the 8 shells you get to play with and a vast amount of weapons you discover in the world there’s something for each play style out there.

Combat was one factor i kept messing up on always attacking and not dodging properly heck I even forgot what the block button was which all this combined with dying a lot lead me to grab the slayer seal and activate easy mode which sadly its not that easy you still need skills and I sadly am lacking.

The game is beautiful the world is worth exploring and its something I did everytime i killed enemies in areas I would look around and check things out.

My experience with mortal shell 2 was honestly interesting and a bit rage inducing I had fun and look forward to updates and future content if the team decides to add more to the game again thank you to Charlotte and Playstack you guys were awesome take care and have a great day and game on.

Ground Zero Hero

So what do you get when you mix vampire survivors with Rick and Morty you get one hell of a chaotic combination and thats Ground Zero Hero thats what we are talking about today but first off i wanna say a huge thank you to Acclaim and Rowan Edmondson for sending me a copy of the game to check out its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in.

As you know im a huge rougelite fan Vampire survivors started such a fun genre and everytime a new game comes out in it I try my best to get a copy and cover it so when Ground Zero Hero hit my radar I knew i wanted to try it out and see what spin on the formula they did.

So you start out with the first level everything else is unlocked the goal of each level is to kill 9,999 monsters and then you have to kill a boss for a total of 10k monsters is that a lot absolutely and I admit i got my ass handed to me plenty of times but each defeat makes you stronger as you unlock new powers and if you have the coins you can upgrade certain stats like health, crit and so forth so I failed about 5 times i think it was until I finally got a decent build going now if you have played any rougelite you know after a while the enemies are multiple and swarm you fast so this game offers a day and night cycle now you can brave the night and fight taking on stronger enemies or you can find a bunker and sleep the night away and it resets the field for a bit but whatever items you didnt grab before you went to sleep you lose immediately which is part of the reset. Now as you level up you can unlock a new power but on later levels it slows down as you need more and more xp so from all the power ups I noticed there was no xp power up just the basic powers at different levels as well as speed, power and attack speed.

So far each level plays the same 10k monsters survive and move to the next im stuck on a level as the monsters hit harder and none of the combinations im doing seem to help me out but that isnt stopping me from having a good time and honestly that was a worry of mine could I have a good time while having to kill so many monsters and for me that answer was yes I was still having fun the levels offer monster diversity as well as random events happen that make them even more funnier my favorite is when you set off a nuke it explodes and an alien pops up looking like wtf is going on theres also random power ups like riding a cow and plowing through enemies until it explodes theres also piñatas around the map that help keep you going by giving you health and candy which you need.

Later levels does increase in difficulty but that just adds to the challenges and makes the game more fun all in all Ground Hero Zero has been amazing its a blast and I for one am looking forward to how they keep the game growing thank you all for stopping by take care and game on.

Forsaken Realms Vahrins Call

What do you get when skyrim gets a budget and the souls games aren’t dark and gloomy? In my opinion you get Vahrins Call so lets talk about this action rpg that ive been checking out but fiest a massive thank you to Titan Roc for sensing me a copy to check out its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in.

So Vahrins Call is a Fantasy Action RPG with great emphasis on the fantasy and decent on the action you start the game in character creation make your character and then you get dropped into the tutorial area when its an actual area not a small chunk but a decent area that has signs posted that you click into and give you more information about every button press and action and that for me is a great tutorial definitely wanna see more like this.

After the tutorial you enter the real game and start your journey the reason i compare to skyrim is cause its one of the few rpg I played where I explored a good chunk and always found something new to do and in vahrins call its the same idea there’s so much to explore and find that honestly you can get lost and spend hours the map also has an item marker on the right that tells you what items are in the area and how much as well so if your a perfectionist and wanna make sure you grabbed everything there you go the game keeps track for you.

Theres also a boat load of side missions and I do mean a boat load im sitting on over 12 missions and im mainly just exploring getting a feel for the game.

The story well im sorry I dont spoil stories I like people to discover it on there own but its easy to follow as your the hero and are trying to save the realm.

One of the funniest things ive come across is during combat the human enemies will talk while they fight and my favorite line when you hit them is “your not supposed to fight back” like excuse me the fuck im not ima burn you and slash you till you drop loot like the level 1 peasant you are lmao.

Combat is simple you gain experience with the weapons and items you use as well as the magic and traps everything gives you xp where you can invest skill points into and get buffs and upgrades.

Vahrins call is fun and theres so much to do and it has a decent size map with plenty to find and do and I for one definitely recommend it if your an rpg fan as well now i did mention souls games a bit as when you die or rest in the save points enemies respawn they dont stay dead so always be ready as if your playing with sound the music changes when your being attacked.

Sephiria

Hello everyone hows it going today i wanna talk to you about a sweet little action rpg rougelite called Sephiria they just recently released into 1.0 and the awesome folks at Team Horay was kind enough to send me a review key to check out the game so lets talk about it.

So the game starts with you the main character on your way to this special meeting in front of the tree of destiny there during the ritual your suddenly taken to a vision of the future evil has taken over and destroyed everything but the tree has faith in you and chooses you to stop the evil growing around the world.

So the game is a top down view like all other rougelites it has levels where after you level up you get to pick an artifact to grow stronger and help you on your journey the melee combat is well done you move the mouse around and it changes where your facing so combat takes a bit to get used to each level is divided into smaller sub paths with different goals and rewards now i admit im rusty this game kicked my ass over and over but I didnt give up I made it to the final room which is the boss and sadly he kicked my ass as well i am by no means anywhere near a decent point in the game but i will continue.

The game has different areas and from what ive read the game so far has about 6 chapters while they work on more. The story is fun and simple putting the faith of bunnyville on the shoulders of a small bunny is funny and adorable.

This game is a must play for rougelite fans and I definitely recommend it ill definitely be working on getting further into the tower and stopping the evil that spreads thank you all for stopping by take care and game on.

DragonSword Awakening

Hello everyone today i wanna talk to you about a gem of an rpg ive been playing called DragonSword Awakening but first I wanna send a huge thank you to the team at HOUND13 for sending me the game its greatly appreciated.

Now there are rumors around that this was supposed to be a gacha game but everything was taken out is that true I dont know everything ive played and done so far has been acquired from the game itself the only things I see that cost money are some costumes and the deluxe edition upgrade other then that everything is in game well on to the show then.

So ive been playing deagonsword at a decent pace nothing huge im sitting at 10.3 hours as of this writing but expect that number to grow as I definitely have not scratched the surface of the game.

The game follows Lute after he crashes his ship onto the continent of Orbis in search of meeting with his family but fate has other plans for him as he meets castella and Johnny members of the Johnny mercenaries who are on a crazy quest to complete and trick lute into helping which is where the game starts letting you take over and a simple tutorial progresses you through the area. The game quickly enters you into combat and the combo system which makes combat unique in this game as each character offers there own status effects and combat style.

Soon after your back in town being dragged into a temporary trial with the Johnny group and this is where the story starts to unfold and so far its an amazing story one that has a good amount of plot twist.

The world of Orbis is big the map is huge and you slowly discover it as you go by finding these ancient windmills that clear up the fog in the pertaining area, there are also statues of the goddess that you must rebuild and each statue not only heals you but doubles as a warp point to make travel quicker and trust me travel you will but the game doesnt make you suffer as the game gives you this awesome beetle mount that helps get you around and the best part you use them to climb so you can get to higher areas.

The game also has cooking which is how you make healing items and theres also a blacksmith which helps craft gear so far though I havent seen any new weapons so im not sure if there is any.

Onto the game itself the game is very colorful the graphics feel a bit like genshin lots of colors and beauty the game plays amazing I havent encountered any stutters or frame drops exploring is fun and the cities are filled with life as you explore them you can actually talk to people as some even have quest you can do to earn more xp and materials.

The variety in monsters has been fun from different goblin types to what look like humanoid hyenas and even golems hiding in rock formations as well as bosses and some insane fights that are part of the story.

Ive had an amazing time with the game so far and I definitely recommend it if your a fan of rpg games and dont mind some exploring and questing as you go

Granblue Fantasy Relink Endless Ragnarok PS5 Review

Hey everyone hows it going? Today i wanna talk to you about GranBlue Fantasy Relinks base game story but first a huge thank you to Cygames inc for sending me the game its greatly appreciated and an honor to work with these guys for the first time.

GranBlue is an rpg with an amazing story it follows Gran and the crew as they journey across the skydom on an adventure to find the mythical floating island of estalucia This game has so much to talk about so I will do my best to cover most of it.

At first i went into this game thinking it might be a gotcha game having no history with this game i miss judged it and I am glad this game proved me wrong. First let’s talk about the graphics I havent had a game blow me away in graphics since final fantasy X on ps2 the game was just that beautiful between cinematics and cutscenes as well as general environments the game really left me amazed and I did not wanna stop playing i needed to know more of the story and what was going on.

Now i suck at rpg games when they involve stats and weapon stats i always mess them up but some how this game even though it had all that it was fairly easy to understand and to position everything the way i wanted the whole time I played i got massive final fantasy 10 vibes and honestly I loved it and wanted to see what else might have been in the vibe factor. Each character has its own stat tree which is great because it makes sure you pay attention to each character instead of just the one you control and trust me you will wanna invest as some of the fights I had I was way under leveled for.

There are multiple characters you get to use across your journey and even though there’s some in the store you can purchase at 3 dollars this is completely optional as the game has character cards you will find during your play through and you use these to unlock characters even the newest ones added from the dlc.

Theres also a new summon mechanic and transcendence and master levels that come from the dlc which i will talk more when i get to enjoy the dlc as well. Which your probably wondering if its worth the money and honestly yes it is considering how much new stuff is added and the size of the dlc itself absolutely buy it.

The combat system is easy to learn and hard to master between normal attacks and skills as well as link attacks theres a lot happening on screen and I found it easier to use the targeting system so I could keep my main target in focus. Each character has an ultimate attack gage that fills up as your battles progress letting you deal out huge damage if done right.

The places you visit are all beautiful from snow mountains to big city’s and everything in between theres something for you to do in each location and there’s a lot of items to find on each map everytime we went to a new location I would open up my map and run around a la path of exile lol.

Now the story was honestly intense I had moments i didnt wanna stop playing but had to cause you know adulting but man the bond between the party and lyria is insane everyone is one big family and the trials we faced left me with my jaw on the floor the final chapters of the story where everything got even more intense as enemies turned to allies and beyond truly top tier story telling the writers really knocked it out of the park.

Im sorry for so much vagueness but I dont like to spoil story points in my reviews and this game is one huge story so this is a bit hard when I write about the dlc ill do my best to touch more on the story just know that gran was not taking any crap from anyone he was getting lyria back no matter what.

I had a blast with this game sitting at around 16 hours for the base story i have so much more to discover and enjoy and i for one plan on it again thank you to Cygames for sending me a copy i greatly appreciate it everyone thank you for stopping by take care and game on.

Farlands PC Review

Hello everyone today i wanna talk to you about an awesome little farming game ive been playing called Farlands but first a huge thank you to JanduSoft for sending me a copy its greatly appreciated let’s dive in.

So Farlands sees you leaving the busy city life in exchange for buying your own planet in a far away galaxy that seems to be a total dumpster fire but you make it work.

My one gripe with the game even though its simple to understand for the most part is the no tutorial at least an actual tutorial as I dont count reading pages that tell you what tools are used for as a tutorial when thats basic knowledge the game also for some reason uses the right mouse button to click into stuff and thats just weird as hell and took a bit for me to find how to make shit work because of that again a simple tutorial could have remedy that.

Now onto the game itself you have a huge piece of land a small house and a space ship all of which are important to you as the day progresses you waste energy until you need to sleep to recover the space ship lets you explore the other planets which each have there own resources you will need to progress and finally your land where you will plant seeds and progress the story all in the name of progress.

My favorite part of the game is there’s some aliens you are trying to get help from but they want you to complete a solar encyclopedia of different items in your system before they will help you as they wanna make sure your galaxy is worth there help and honestly thats my favorite part of the game its your main goal as well and trust me theres so much to find and register its a bit insane.

The game is super chill and cozy and honestly will probably mesh with players that have played games like stardew valley as thats probably the closest comparison I can come up with.

Farlands definitely has a ton of stuff to do even though it feels repetitive at times but its one of those games you can pick up play and put down and play again the one thing I wanna see added is a manual save option having to kill a day to rest just to save is a bit of a hassle all in all i definitely recommend farlands you can play on steam ps5 xbox and nintendo switch, thank you all for stopping by take care and game on

#Drive Rally

Hello everyone today i wanna talk to you about #Drive Rally but first a huge thank you to the team at Pixel Perfect Dude for sending me a review copy its greatly appreciated.

Now even though the games been put for a while on PC I was sent a copy for the PS5 and I gotta say the game played beautifully and I had a blast every minute of the way.

The game offers a few modes from online to championship to free roam now i didnt get to do online as my schedule and my buddy saviors schedule had a hard time matching up so I mainly focused on championship mode with some free roam.

In free roam its exactly that you pick a map and drive around i used this mode to get a feel for the cars as well as to find collectibles scattered around the map and I gotta say the free roam maps are massive I wasnt expecting them to be that huge.

In championship mode you pick a race team and progress through multiple races and chapters until your crowned the champion and i gotta say its also another way to unlock more cars and variety i did have some slight issues as my Co pilot for some reason always gave me the instructions for turns late but it turns out there’s a setting in the menu that lets you adjust the timing of your GPS navigation so change that before you race but even with that I did awesome on races held my own was able to compete against the computer and in general just have fun.

Drive Rally is only the second Rally game ive ever played the first being exo rally championship for pc which was also a blast but each game even though a rally game played vastly different but neither lost the fun factor and honestly now a days having fun with the games i play has become a huge factor for me.

Another thing i love a out drive rally is the art style it has this unique shaded art graphics that honestly do not hurt your eyes and even on a massive TV screen you can enjoy the game without any issues.

#Drive Rally was a roller coaster of fun from start to finish for me and i honestly cant wait to see whats added to the game so if you want an awesome racing game where you can play with friends and just have fun then pick up drive rally on pc and ps5 the game is also available on physical for all my awesome collectors out there, again thank you to the devs for sending me a copy its greatly appreciated thank you all for stopping by take care and game on.
