Dead or Alive 6 Last Round PS5 Review

Hello everyone hows it going today i bring you Dead or Alive 6 Last Round for the PS5 but first a MASSIVE  thank you to the legendary Koei Tecmo for sending me a review copy it was greatly appreciated so let’s talk about it.

Now i havent played a fighting game in years so I was shocked when I got this game sent to me as a game reviewer to be recognized and given the chance by a company like Koei Tecmo is insane but that aside onto the game.

The last dead or alive game I played was the beach volleyball one for the Xbox 360 fighting games weren’t my jam since the bloody roar series died out so I went into this game as a complete noob and just enjoyed my time with it.

Now there’s a story mode not in the traditional arcade sense but a separate story that expands in a web as you progress getting a chance to experience different characters view points which all seem to end with the start of the Dead or Alive tournament.
The game has a handful of different modes from arcade to training to online mode now i admit i stayed far away from online ill leave that to the experts i admit i didnt wanna cry from the ass whooping i woulda gotten had i jumped in there, training mode is the best you get to take each character for a spin till you find the one you mesh with and when you have over 20 characters to choose from there will be meshing, and arcade is just the simple arcade battles against the computer or couch co op with your friends and family.

The game has 15 different maps for you to fight on and each map has different areas that you burst into with landing some hard hits on your opponents, there’s also a leader board now since I was on PS5 i assume the leaderboard only shows PS5 players which I feel is a missed opportunity cause theres nothing better then competition amongst players wanting to reach that top spot.

The graphics were actually nice between cinematic takes and fight scenes there was never a change it looked beautiful the whole way. I dont know if the game offers crossplay between consoles and pc which it might not some would probably say pc would have an advantage over consoles but thats just my 2 cents.

I didnt have any issues during my play time the game played solid combat was fluid and fun and the story was interesting to watch and play through I didnt experience stutters or delays which in fighting games is important online could be another story but I didnt jump online just local single player.

The only negative thing I can say is this game has a ton of micro transactions in the form of costumes for the characters which isnt a huge deal but prices are a bit on the expensive side for my taste.

All in all I enjoyed my time with dead or alive 6 last round and I hope to work with koei tecmo again in the future again huge thank you for sending me a review copy i greatly appreciate it I hope you all have a good time take care and game on.

Sand Raiders of Sophie

Hello everyone today i wanna talk to you about a game that has been on my radar since I saw my friend in the playtest and that game is called Sand Raiders of Sophie I also wanna give a huge thank you to tinybuild for sending me a copy of the game its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in.

First my biggest massive gripe with the game is absolutely no fucking tutorial nothing at all nothing to tell you how to play how to set up or even how to build your walker nothing they just throw you in the deep end and expect you to swim and that would be fine except not everyone got invited to the playtest so maybe a tutorial ok not everyone was in the playtest and the players that were already have a huge advantage seriously.

Now that thats out of the way onto the game sand is a multiplayer battleroyal extraction shooter game I know thats a mouthful and honestly its not bad it does things in a way that even though its an extraction shooter its not annoying.
Now your able to squad up in groups of 6 max or any variation from 2 to 6 theres solo play as well for my solo hunters but good luck, now at the start of your game you choose your character choose what gear you wanna risk losing pick a walker and off you go it sounds simple but its not you need to pick guns ammo and armor for yourself but you also need to pick guns ammo and repair kits for your walker so if your trying to rush and get back in the game quick you might miss some stuff.

The map is huge a nice barren desert with areas to explore and npcs to battle for loot but your not alone as theres other players that can ruin your game if your not paying attention which is crucial for survival.

Ive had about 6 matches in total ive spent more time in there discord trying to find a group then playing the game as I dont have many friends who have the game.

The game has had its fair share of problems since launch but the devs are working hard daily to combat all the issues that are popping up and for that I give them major props.

Sand is a fun game with massive potential and i can see it being huge with the right people but it needs work and it needs a way to be more welcoming to new players or they wont survive yes theres youtube but you shouldn’t need to rely on other people to do a games job.

I cant wait to see whats in store for sand as time progresses I look forward to the journey thank you all for stopping by take care and game on

NBA The RUN

Hey everyone today i wanna talk to you about NBA the run but first a huge shout out to the devs over at play by play studios for sending me a key its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in

Nba the run the game dubbed the spiritual successor to the NBA street series as someone who grew up with the street series games from NBA to nfl to fifa those were some of the best sports games growing up I wasnt huge into the madden games or any of the official titles the street series were the best from trick plays to being on fire mode so when NBA the run landed on my radar with that title I knew i had to check it out for myself.

Now the game is strictly online only its available on PS5, Xbox and Steam for pc, now the game is online only no single player mode no story nothing to give you a bit of relaxation when you dont wanna play against other players thats a let down as back then those games were just single player and couch versus.

The game thankfully doesn’t have a cash op store where real money is used everything in the game so far is earned by grinding out levels and in game currency which is a huge win cause this game could easily fall pray to real money schemes and I dont wanna see that happen I would be fine with paid dlc like legendary NBA players but thats my 2 cents.

Now the game is fun even being online only but sadly your gonna have the issue that comes along with every sports game where team work is required you will have people that dont pass and will keep the ball until they score or lose it and trust me ive had my fair share of players like this but ive also come across some great team mates as well.

The game is crossplay so console and pc players can play together but in my whole time playing I didnt see any Xbox players idk if its a glitch or Xbox doesn’t wanna play with the rest of us but yeah I didnt see any Xbox players.

The only other big issue I have with the game is stamina drains very fast and recovers slow but maybe thats just a skill issue on my part need more play time to judge lol.

The game has a great line up of players currently in the NBA as well as some characters that I dont know where there from but I am hoping to see an expansion of the roster the courts all look amazing having some iconic locations from new york to L.A and even some world wide spots I hope to see more new locations added down the road.

I played on the PS5 and I didnt have any issues the game ran great felt great on controller and is easy to learn but hard to master I cant wait to see what the devs have instore for future updates thank you all for stopping by take care and game on.
