Hey everyone hows it going, today i wanna talk to you about Halloween… the game not the holiday lol but first a huge thank you to illfonic for sending me a copy of the game its greatly appreciated.
The game is based hugely around the multiplayer aspect of the game but the game does offer a small story mode made up of 6 chapters that teach you how to play as the iconic legendary killer Michael Myers. The story opens up with the prologue where a massive rainstorm is battering the area near the asylum where Myers is being kept along with himself some inmates are outside as 2 of the workers try to get everyone back in Myers grabs the closest one using him to break down the fence and escape this is where the game gives you the first chance to experience him as pop ups tell you whats going on and how to play you move to escape killing other workers along the way finally reaching the end of the level the doctor responsible for putting you there shows up after some more walking you manage to steal his car and escape for good and that is where the intro chapter stops and the real story starts but if you wanna know more you will have to play the game yourself.
The multiplayer aspect will be very similar to fans of games like dead by day light and Friday the 13th where you have missions to complete in order to open up escape routes but your not alone you have civilians to save each round 3 special ones must escape for bonus points, me ive never played these style games so i was lost as fuck and died plenty which sucks cause the game is fun the map is actual decent in size and you have a lot to do even after you die there’s also different events and quick time events to help you score points for the survivors.
All in all Halloween takes a great established genre and cranks it to 11 the game is cross platform between pc and consoles and it didnt take me long to find a match which is a huge plus for online games the base game is 40 while the deluxe is 60 with some goodies for yourself which if you do story mode you can unlock even more goodies all in all if your a fan of dead by daylight this game is for you thank you for stopping by take care and game on.
