Solarpunk PS5 Review

Hello everyone how are you doing today we talk about a new survivor game that ive had the pleasure of testing out on PS5 and that is solarpunk but first a huge thank you to Rokaplay for sending me the game its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in.

Solarpunk is an open world survival crafting game thats set in a technologically advance world where floating islands are the norm and who knows if there’s an actual ground.

The game starts you off with the most basic tutorial teaching you how to gather things from berries to stone and sticks then it teaches you how to build your set of basic tools a hatchet and pickaxe to a garden hoe and then it sets you loose literally thats it you gotta figure out the building the menu navigating and everything else.

Now ive played my share of survival games this one is fun because its cozy you play at your pace you garden explore build and gather no timers rushing you no impending boss music and no bad guys to bother you and reset your progression like other games do. Its all just sit back and enjoy.

The major selling point is you can bring your friends along in your world and do everything together and honestly more survival games should aim for a co op aspect it would make the game even more fun I know a few that could do with some co op, did i get to try it out myself sadly i didnt not many of my console friends do the cozy games.

All in all this game is a vibe and fun to play with or with out friends no pressure and for 22.99 its not over the top expensive and if controllers aren’t your jam the game is also available on steam so thank you all for stopping by take care and game on.

Bellwright PS5 Version

Hey everyone hows it going i was recently sent out the PS5 version of Bellwright to check out so lets talk about it but first huge thank you to Snail Games for sending me a copy its greatly appreciated.

Yes ive checked out bellwright before I was sent the PC version when there maiden voyage dlc dropped and I had fun with it for the most part so when the game dropped for PS5 i wanted to check it out sadly it didnt have the multiplayer active which is what I wanted to do which was play with my buddy and see how the game felt but enough of that this review will mainly focus on how it felt for console if you wanna read my bellwright review ill link the pc coverage below.

Now ive never played survivor games on consoles ive always felt for some games pc is just better but I wanted to see how well they adapted to using a controller and the console limits my biggest issue graphically is the motion blur when turning or running the game blurs together to the point its very annoying and hurts your eyes a lot and sadly there’s no way to turn off the motion blur in the settings for the console port big fail now it could just be the games to demanding but still I hope they fix it in the future.

Next the controls itself left stick is to move and instead of making sprint L3 they bind it to circle why every controller player and anyone that uses a controller knows L3 is sprint in most games

The building and a few menu options were stuffed under either L1 or square i think it was sorry so many controls over lap its hard to remember them all.

I biggest gripe is they didnt even use the touch pad for a mouse cursor they used it for the pause button when its clicked.

I feel this game needed a lot more time on controller mapping some of it feels ok and other aspects just dont work and the game itself nothing has changed you still start in the ruins you find the first village and work on gaining people’s trust I honestly feel the console port could have had more work done to it to help it feel more natural the combat is the biggest disaster you need to use the right stick to look around and try to get your swing into different spots its a massive headache honestly.

All in all the game still needs work and I hope future updates will improve it cause I do wanna see the game be a hit even if my review doesn’t sound like it below ive linked my original pc review again thank you to Snail Games for the game take care and game on

Bounty Brawl Most Wanted

Hey guys hows it going today i wanna talk to you about Bounty Brawl but first huge thank you to the devs at Infini Fun and Nanuq for sending me a copy of the game its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in.

So Bounty Brawl is a fast paced action rougelite that can be played between 1 to 4 players where you hunt down bosses and claim bounties which is honestly a good premise.

You get to choose between 8 bosses on 4 different areas you gotta make your way through the cannon fodder first before you can tackle the boss so far from what ive played the game could use more balancing primarily the mobs I feel have to much health right off the bat compared to the damage you do.

Theres some levels where you get attacked by stationary weapons and you cant even destroy them which i think is total bullshit considering your already dodging the attacks from other enemies.
Now this is a multiplayer game it has co op but sadly i wasnt able to find any active lobbies so I dont know if other people have bought the game or there’s issues finding lobbies.

The game has a good base and with some work can be very fun ive always wanted a game where you hunt down fugitives and claim there bounties and this could be it with some work ill definitely be coming back down the road after more updates and checking it out if your planning on grabbing it maybe buy a copy for a friend as well so you can have someone with you cause solo play sucked and definitely got my ass kicked plenty of times.

All in all thanks to the devs for letting me check out there game i cant wait to see what’s next for Bounty Brawl have a good one take care and game on.

Exo Rally Championship

So what do you get when you take rally racing off world you get exo rally championship but first i wanna say huge thank you to the team at future friends games and exbleative for sending me out a key its greatly appreciated now lets dive in.

So ive never really played regular rally games they just never really caught my attention but for some reason Exo Rally Championship seemed interesting right off the bat so its a rally game thats set in outer space on different planets each offering different environments and dangers to your run.

The game does have a tutorial which teaches you the basics of the game as well as how to control your car and the big one how to use your thrusters to help stabilize the car during big air jumps which trust me you will need it.

The game offers a few different modes theres series, time trials and multiplayer and i for one was looking forward to jumping into the multiplayer until I saw how they designed it which was a huge let down.

The multi-player tab is designed for people who have friends that also have the game you create a lobby with a pass code fill it up and off you go well devs not everyone has a list of friends that play the same game why didnt you just make it with regular match making it would have been so much easier and actually have people play it.

The series is the regular story mode which is very interesting as your driving for a team thats basically rock bottom and its your job to bring them back to glory.

All in all Exo Rally Championship is fun and definitely worth it with a few tweaks like changing the multiplayer set up this game could definitely be huge for the competitive crowd again thanks to the devs and take care and game on.

Atelier Karia the night kingdom & the guide of memories

The Search for a Lost Past Begins in KOEI TECMO’s Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories

Get a Taste of the Journey Ahead in the Announcement Trailer

BURLINGAME, Calif. – June 12, 2026 – Today, KOEI TECMO America and developer Gust invite fans to embark on a delicious new adventure with the announcement of Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories, the latest instalment in the fan-favorite Atelier series. Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories is currently in development and is scheduled for release in early 2027 for Nintendo Switch™ 2, PlayStation®5, Windows PC via Steam®, XBOX Series X|S. To celebrate, an announcement trailer has been released, setting the stage for the journey that awaits.

In Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memoriesplayers will return to the continent of Aladiss, first introduced in Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land. This new chapter follows amnesiac alchemist Karia on a profound quest centered on discovery and growth. Working together with Servio Lektor, a heretic biologist from the pioneering team, and Fina Rozen, a talented fighter, Karia sets out on a journey to explore Aladiss’ mysterious underworld to uncover its secret. As depicted in all Atelier titles, alchemy and synthesis will remain at the absolute heart of the gameplay experience, deepening players’ experience and allowing them to use synthesized items for more than just combat. Using the alchemy cauldron found in the depth of Aladdiss’ underworld, players will be able to create unique items thanks to a deep synthesis system that blends strategy and creativity. By connecting the mana pieces of the different ingredients selected, players can change the effects of the item synthesized, resulting in an infinite number of possible variations and combinations.

Fans can anticipate an entirely fresh take on the franchise, however, with Karia’s signature mechanic: a unique system that blends traditional alchemy with culinary exploration. While foraging, players can snack on gathered ingredients to trigger immediate, dynamic effects, such as sprouting animal ears and gaining specialized traits when consuming animal-based components.

The combat mechanics introduced in Atelier Yumia have also been meticulously refined to offer an advanced hybrid battle system. The updated mechanics seamlessly blend high-octane action with strategic command menus. Players must test their reflexes by parrying enemy attacks in real time, while retaining complete tactical control over the flow of battle by pausing time, allowing them to select the skills and items to use via the command menu.

The power of alchemy extends far beyond the battlefield as synthesized items can now be used during exploration to allow players to reach new locations or find hidden treasures. Depending on the items used, they will be able to solve challenges and even gather different ingredients. Furthermore, it will be possible to use synthesized items while building to improve the efficiency of their bases.

Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories is currently in development and is scheduled for release in early 2027 for Nintendo Switch™ 2, PlayStation®5, Windows PC via Steam® and XBOX Series X|S.

Tour de France 2026

Hello today we talk about Tour de France 2026 but first a huge thank you to Nacon and Cyanide Studios for sending me the game to review its greatly appreciated.

First off ive never played a tour de France game my gaming goal for 2026 was to branch out and try lots of different games and tour de France just happens to be a game genre ive never tried or played before so lets talk about my experience.

First off thankfully there’s a tutorial now i played this game on PC and right off the bat it will tell you use a controller so I did. Now the tutorial is divided into 4 parts each explaining different aspects of the game as well as how to play what to do and what to watch out for. But even with all this I failed miserably on my first major match.now I went into this game thinking I could just peddle all out and thats how I would win but man was i wrong.

The game has a system that basically limits you so you cant go all out you have to play smart and its the first thing you learn in the tutorial but even with all this I kept getting tired out i kept losing to exhaustion and frankly it was pissing me off to the point I wanted to put my fist through my monitor ive never played a more frustrating game before then tour de France sure call it skill issue tell me to get gud but when you literally get over exhausted every few seconds because of this system its total bullshit I went from mid pack to 1st down to 5th then to dead last thanks to this stamina system which is total bullshit.

My issues aside the game looks beautiful the scenic views of France and its towns are a sight to see the handling was great it and played very well on my pc, this game has a learning curve one I clearly couldn’t overcome but yes I do recommend it simply for its beauty alone.

So thank you to the devs for sending me the game maybe down the road ill try again to see how bad I get my butt kicked but for now ill retire thank you all for stopping by take care and game on

Dark Light Survivors

Hello everyone hows it going today i wanted to talk to you about dark light survivors but first huge thank you to the team over at Mirari&Co for sending me a copy of the game to try out its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in.

So Dark Light Survivors is a great game from what ive played so far its a rougelite with its own twist the game offers a good amount of upgrades to make your fight better but the best part is what makes this game unique you see more rougelites are all played top down view you go around blast monsters gain xp and level up with dark light you get both top down and 3rd person meaning you can switch between both views on the fly while your surviving now usually these games i always play them top down its how I enjoy the games but sadly with dark light survivors I noticed a lot of short comings with the top down so it was better for me to play in 3rd person. You see in other games you could shoot at a decent distance even before any upgrades with this one your shots would disappear at the 3 to 4 feet mark and thats before making any type of contact but in 3rd person mode it actually feels like your making better contact with them.

Another thing i saw was the map markers showing you where statues and chest are in top down view you get no indicators or anything but when you switch to 3rd person view you get a distance meter as well as actually being able to see them.

I know it sounds like im wailing on the game but im just showing some inconsistency it feels like the top down view was an after thought for the game instead of a fleshed out product.

Now like other rougelites when you level up your greeted by a deity from the dying world that grants you power this is also random but each deity gives you 3 choices for 1 element my favorite is always ice i like freezing monsters to give me some breathing room the electric powers were good but we’re heavy focused on melee and the fire was focused all around i feel there could be some work here as well to make it more in line with being even between ranged and melee attacks.

Now after each run in this dying world you return to your sanctuary to spend the coins you earn theres a store that unlocks relics for you to use and a store that also has new weapons and characters you can unlock as well after clearing there objectives to unlock.

So far there’s only 3 levels you can play through not sure when more will be added but the game has great potential and I enjoyed myself these types of games are great time killers as you never know how long a run will last but dark light survivors is out now on steam check them out and thank your for stopping by take care and game on

Wrecking Wave

Hello everyone hows it going? Today i wanna talk to you about a little action side scroller ive been checking out called wrecking wave but first huge thank you to the devs BrunuuDev for sending me a copy of the game its greatly appreciated let’s dive in.

So this game releases on June 1st its a side scroller game where you control a dinosaur and destroy everything in your path but let’s be real your godzillas great great great great grand kid or something like that cause in the intro video there’s a scientist thats dumping chemicals into the water and you want to stop him.

The game is very destruction heavy everything in your path collapses and earns you points but it also slows you down which is a bit of a bummer since your being attacked by the military as well. You also get to throw stuff at the enemies to help reduce the damage you take but in this game its all about dodging and focus.

For a side scroller the game is fun you get a special attack that summons a massive wave that destroys everything in your path earning you chunks of points, now thankfully the points do something theres a talent tree that let’s you unlock upgrades for your dino so you can survive which trust me its a bit hard I got my ass kicked plenty of times theres also a hat section where you can buy cool hats with the points you earn.

Wrecking Wave is pure chaotic fun from start to finish each level closing out with a boss battle each being unique the physics destruction is the chefs kiss to this game as watching everything crumble is fun.

Only issues I found is the game is much easier to play on a controller then a keyboard also wish you could find healing items on the levels as there’s times where you get out numbered and its hard to dodge enemies. But other then that I definitely recommend checking out this sweet little time killer thanks for stopping by take care and game on

Bus Bound

Hey everyone hows it going? Today I wanna talk to you about Bus Bound an amazing bus sim that ive been hooked on but first a massive massive thank you to Saber Interactive for sending me the code its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in.

First off im a huge sim fan i have over 80 hours in games like American truck sim as well as Euro truck sim I also tried out a different bus sim but it didnt go over so well but driving games I love so when saber gave me the chance to try out bus bound I knew I had to really dive in.

So for my first bus sim game I went in open minded no expectations just straight raw experience and boy was I floored and blown away everything from the driving nailing the way a bus feels on a turn to the visuals of the city as you drive by to the traffic hell even the pedestrians everything just came together and felt alive at times I forgot I was playing a game the immersion was unreal and so well done I had a hard time putting my controller down.
Now I played on the PS5 I havent tried my wheel with it yet but from what ive seen on discord some wheels are hit or miss on recognition. The game is available on all major systems and also has a season pass that will add 3 content expansions the moment they become available so definitely grab that if your able to. So again I played on PS5 and the controls were fantastic on the lower left side of the screen there’s a control legend telling you what buttons do what which it all gets introduced to you during the short but detailed tutorial and during every run thats there so you dont forget it which is a huge win cause that way even if you forget something just look over and boom your set very well done and absolutely doesn’t break immersion.

Now I talk about immersion cause thats what you want in certain games you wanna feel like your in it and bus bound does an amazing job of that from the passengers getting upset to complimenting you as you drive theres never a dull moment.

So the city your driving in is Emberville a beautiful city broken down into 7 districts that you work on growing and changing as you progress the story, each route is a benefit to the city and each stop is a hot spot to the route you see this games major focus is on progression and evolution as people are dropped off at a stop they give you points get enough points and a stop levels up if you level up enough stops the district grows and evolves and this is my favorite part of the game your taking a city thats become to focused on corporate life with parking lots and roads filled with cars you change that with every district you upgrade slowly more bus stops open up new sites to explore special bus only areas appear and thats just the start the people notice they get excited and more people start using the bus giving you more passengers in return.

Every stop unlocks its own bonus some give you new buses and others give you multipliers which help you upgrade an area faster everything works together to better not only you the player but the world around you as well.

The buses there’s a total of 19 buses the game starts you off with 5 buses each different in its own way some are diesel powered while others are electric and there’s one thats hydrogen powered they each support a different amount of passengers each bus has a stat block that shows up as your picking them as well as a bit of info on the bus your about to use each bus is also customizable you can change there colors or add a livery to them, there’s small 20 passenger bus then there’s my favorite the giant 60 foot long buses there’s even a double decker bus you unlock later on in the game, the buses also have a mastery system the more you use them the more mastery points you earn so even though you may have your favorite bus maybe try to master them all they each play different as well the diesel ones coast better which require you to use the break on them while the electric and hydrogen ones slow down faster and dont have any coast ability at all which is beneficial in some roads.
Your points multiplier is at the mercy of your driving ability and how well you do, you see from stop to stop its a test did you slow down to harshly you lose points did you make that stop sign just right you earn some as well but drive to fast or run a red light and passengers will let you know how disappointed in you they are and take a hit to your multiplier so make sure you follow the rules even though you wanna drive fast and get there dont rush enjoy the drive and scenery trust me its worth it plus the more points you earn the faster you upgrade and unlock stuff.

Now the game does have multiplayer sadly only the host gets progression I hope they change this down the line but im sure its more of a stability issue to keep the game running smoothly, I played a bit with my buddy Matt we drove around did some runs and it was fun. Your able to see each other’s buses the lobby limit is 4 players yes you can crash into each other but passengers will get mad at you, you can do the same routes but my advice would be just do different routes so your not picking up a small amount of passengers I feel multiplayer is better played later on in the game when you have most of it unlocked so that way you have a good amount of stuff to do and it feels more worth while my buddy Matt just started today and yeah it wasnt much fun when you dont have a lot unlocked.

For my first bus sim game ive had a blast playing it ive put in over 13 hours in 3 days I know compared to others my numbers are low but I dont wanna stop playing im looking forward to what the devs add content wise I wanna see more buses and maybe new areas also maybe some more classic buses if there are any to add I wanna see the game grow I cant wait for the future of this game even though it just released I am having such a fun time with it and I plan on sinking many more hours as I wanna max out everything and unlock the last few buses I have left.

Playing on ps5 I didnt have any issues at all no stutter or crashes its very well done for console and it shows the devs did amazing with it and yes the game does offer compatability with steering wheels which I wanna try it out so bad but I dont have a good set up sadly so down the road hopefully.

Also the bus route system is so easy to learn I was expecting it to be a nightmare on console but I was so wrong you literally hover over a stop click the add button and boom your set move to the next one and repeat until you have the stops you want and finish giving you a new route to play I love that the game acknowledges each route you make while your playing truly top tier work by the devs for that.

All in all Bus Bound has been a dream of a sim game my mind was blown away the beauty of emberville the evolution and growth the changes as you progress the buses and how they handle each one different from the last the passengers praising and thanking you as you drive the positive and negative emotions displayed the random traffic problems that can pop up during your drive everything is so well done and thought out that you could mistake this game for real life the devs have hit a grand slam with this game and I genuinely am looking forward to the future of the game again a massive thank you to Saber Interactive for sending me the game thank you all for stopping by take care and game on.

Under Par Golf Architect

Hello everyone hows it going today I wanna talk to you about a new golf game the first ive ever played called Under Par Golf Architect but first a huge thanks to Broken Arms Games for the review code its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in.

So this game is pretty simple you design a golf course hole by hole you choose the distance if you want them straight or angled then you go and start placing the different green and fairways as well as any obstacles that you desire its pretty simple you can also place sand traps or water ways to make things a bit harder each hole gets a grade depending on what you have placed around it which makes it that more interesting to see how golfers react.

The game offers a career mode which is a great way to learn the game as it has you do different task to get the course going and going you will as the mayor of the area becomes a huge fan and after completing a few task he has you make a tournament which is the biggest goal of any course if you ask me.

You also get to place stuff like rest rooms water fountains and snack bars as well as a restaurant after you unlock it.

You also get to try your course there’s an option that let’s you take control of your avatar so you can test out your course which is pretty awesome if you ask me.

The game is fun and simple a great time killer as you watch your creations be played and grow i wasnt expecting to have this much fun playing it but im glad I did play it cant wait to see what they add to the game down the road.

All in all under Par Golf Architect is fun and a great time killer its out on steam so check it out thank you for stopping by take care and game on
