Bus Bound

Hey everyone hows it going? Today I wanna talk to you about Bus Bound an amazing bus sim that ive been hooked on but first a massive massive thank you to Saber Interactive for sending me the code its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in.

First off im a huge sim fan i have over 80 hours in games like American truck sim as well as Euro truck sim I also tried out a different bus sim but it didnt go over so well but driving games I love so when saber gave me the chance to try out bus bound I knew I had to really dive in.

So for my first bus sim game I went in open minded no expectations just straight raw experience and boy was I floored and blown away everything from the driving nailing the way a bus feels on a turn to the visuals of the city as you drive by to the traffic hell even the pedestrians everything just came together and felt alive at times I forgot I was playing a game the immersion was unreal and so well done I had a hard time putting my controller down.
Now I played on the PS5 I havent tried my wheel with it yet but from what ive seen on discord some wheels are hit or miss on recognition. The game is available on all major systems and also has a season pass that will add 3 content expansions the moment they become available so definitely grab that if your able to. So again I played on PS5 and the controls were fantastic on the lower left side of the screen there’s a control legend telling you what buttons do what which it all gets introduced to you during the short but detailed tutorial and during every run thats there so you dont forget it which is a huge win cause that way even if you forget something just look over and boom your set very well done and absolutely doesn’t break immersion.

Now I talk about immersion cause thats what you want in certain games you wanna feel like your in it and bus bound does an amazing job of that from the passengers getting upset to complimenting you as you drive theres never a dull moment.

So the city your driving in is Emberville a beautiful city broken down into 7 districts that you work on growing and changing as you progress the story, each route is a benefit to the city and each stop is a hot spot to the route you see this games major focus is on progression and evolution as people are dropped off at a stop they give you points get enough points and a stop levels up if you level up enough stops the district grows and evolves and this is my favorite part of the game your taking a city thats become to focused on corporate life with parking lots and roads filled with cars you change that with every district you upgrade slowly more bus stops open up new sites to explore special bus only areas appear and thats just the start the people notice they get excited and more people start using the bus giving you more passengers in return.

Every stop unlocks its own bonus some give you new buses and others give you multipliers which help you upgrade an area faster everything works together to better not only you the player but the world around you as well.

The buses there’s a total of 19 buses the game starts you off with 5 buses each different in its own way some are diesel powered while others are electric and there’s one thats hydrogen powered they each support a different amount of passengers each bus has a stat block that shows up as your picking them as well as a bit of info on the bus your about to use each bus is also customizable you can change there colors or add a livery to them, there’s small 20 passenger bus then there’s my favorite the giant 60 foot long buses there’s even a double decker bus you unlock later on in the game, the buses also have a mastery system the more you use them the more mastery points you earn so even though you may have your favorite bus maybe try to master them all they each play different as well the diesel ones coast better which require you to use the break on them while the electric and hydrogen ones slow down faster and dont have any coast ability at all which is beneficial in some roads.
Your points multiplier is at the mercy of your driving ability and how well you do, you see from stop to stop its a test did you slow down to harshly you lose points did you make that stop sign just right you earn some as well but drive to fast or run a red light and passengers will let you know how disappointed in you they are and take a hit to your multiplier so make sure you follow the rules even though you wanna drive fast and get there dont rush enjoy the drive and scenery trust me its worth it plus the more points you earn the faster you upgrade and unlock stuff.

Now the game does have multiplayer sadly only the host gets progression I hope they change this down the line but im sure its more of a stability issue to keep the game running smoothly, I played a bit with my buddy Matt we drove around did some runs and it was fun. Your able to see each other’s buses the lobby limit is 4 players yes you can crash into each other but passengers will get mad at you, you can do the same routes but my advice would be just do different routes so your not picking up a small amount of passengers I feel multiplayer is better played later on in the game when you have most of it unlocked so that way you have a good amount of stuff to do and it feels more worth while my buddy Matt just started today and yeah it wasnt much fun when you dont have a lot unlocked.

For my first bus sim game ive had a blast playing it ive put in over 13 hours in 3 days I know compared to others my numbers are low but I dont wanna stop playing im looking forward to what the devs add content wise I wanna see more buses and maybe new areas also maybe some more classic buses if there are any to add I wanna see the game grow I cant wait for the future of this game even though it just released I am having such a fun time with it and I plan on sinking many more hours as I wanna max out everything and unlock the last few buses I have left.

Playing on ps5 I didnt have any issues at all no stutter or crashes its very well done for console and it shows the devs did amazing with it and yes the game does offer compatability with steering wheels which I wanna try it out so bad but I dont have a good set up sadly so down the road hopefully.

Also the bus route system is so easy to learn I was expecting it to be a nightmare on console but I was so wrong you literally hover over a stop click the add button and boom your set move to the next one and repeat until you have the stops you want and finish giving you a new route to play I love that the game acknowledges each route you make while your playing truly top tier work by the devs for that.

All in all Bus Bound has been a dream of a sim game my mind was blown away the beauty of emberville the evolution and growth the changes as you progress the buses and how they handle each one different from the last the passengers praising and thanking you as you drive the positive and negative emotions displayed the random traffic problems that can pop up during your drive everything is so well done and thought out that you could mistake this game for real life the devs have hit a grand slam with this game and I genuinely am looking forward to the future of the game again a massive thank you to Saber Interactive for sending me the game thank you all for stopping by take care and game on.

Under Par Golf Architect

Hello everyone hows it going today I wanna talk to you about a new golf game the first ive ever played called Under Par Golf Architect but first a huge thanks to Broken Arms Games for the review code its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in.

So this game is pretty simple you design a golf course hole by hole you choose the distance if you want them straight or angled then you go and start placing the different green and fairways as well as any obstacles that you desire its pretty simple you can also place sand traps or water ways to make things a bit harder each hole gets a grade depending on what you have placed around it which makes it that more interesting to see how golfers react.

The game offers a career mode which is a great way to learn the game as it has you do different task to get the course going and going you will as the mayor of the area becomes a huge fan and after completing a few task he has you make a tournament which is the biggest goal of any course if you ask me.

You also get to place stuff like rest rooms water fountains and snack bars as well as a restaurant after you unlock it.

You also get to try your course there’s an option that let’s you take control of your avatar so you can test out your course which is pretty awesome if you ask me.

The game is fun and simple a great time killer as you watch your creations be played and grow i wasnt expecting to have this much fun playing it but im glad I did play it cant wait to see what they add to the game down the road.

All in all under Par Golf Architect is fun and a great time killer its out on steam so check it out thank you for stopping by take care and game on

Movierooms Cinema Management playtest

So I was recently invited to check out the movierooms playtest and I gotta say its reminded me a whole lot of hotel architect so let’s dive in but first huge thank you to the devs over at Mad Pumpkins for sending me a code i greatly appreciate it.

So the game is started out with the story mode to learn the basics its starts you out in the early 1900s and you learn how to build and staff your theater then it has you play a bit so you can see how things work which isnt bad you hire your staff build your rooms place the main items you need and boom you have your theater nothing huge nothing major just simple place and go.

The game has side quest you can try and do while your running your theater which earn you money but the quest I think were bugged for me as they didnt wanna acknowledge the stuff I already had placed i also couldn’t demolish stuff so I think that option was bugged as well.

The playtest ran great aside from those 2 issues placement was easy and the tutorial was easy to understand I didnt feel overwhelmed by anything and thats how I like these types of games to feel easy to understand and comprehend and hard to master the devs have done a great job with this playtest and I cant wait to see what’s next for this game thank you all have a great day and game on

Narco Check Demo

So today I checked out the demo for upcoming Narco Check i wanna thank the folks over at Craftone Games for sending me the demo its greatly appreciated let’s dive in.

So the demo was short maybe about 30 minutes of game play but in those 30 minutes I learned enough to know I wanna play more.

So your sent to an abandoned airport somewhere in Columbia and your job is to bring it back to life this is the start of the demo and I assume the game as well so you start cleaning up the out side taking out the trash then you move inside and get the place working again you turn on power then name your airport and boom its open season.

The demo takes place across 3 in game days where you learn how to function and figure stuff out if you ever played papers please you will feel right at home you match the information from there id to what’s on the computer if everything is good to go you let them pass if not you reject them.

Eventually you get to the point where you start finding contraband and you can have people arrested and then charge them for release it was awesome.

This game has huge potential and I cant wait to see the final product I had so much fun running my own airport keeping things cleaned and taking care of customers the demo is out on steam so check it out thank you craftone again for sending me this demo much appreciated have a great day and game on.

Red dust colony

Hey everyone today I wanna talk about a colony builder that I came across on YouTube and was able to get access to the demo so huge thank you to Lorin and Cristina Atzberger for the key its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in.

As I said before red dust colony is a colony sim set on the red planet which ima assume is Mars even tho the game doesn’t specify it. So the game starts with your 3 colonists arriving on the planet and being tasked to survive.

Now let me stress this out what I played was a very early demo preview so much of the game isnt ready but there’s enough ready that you can easily play for a few hours. Again its a demo dont shoot me.

So there is a tutorial and its pretty good it tells you what to do and build as well as gives you a wall of information if you click on the appropriate tabs so there’s plenty to learn, resources are around you in the form of ice iron copper and the games version of stone I forgot what its called.

The game thankfully starts you out with a good chunk of stuff so your not losing your mind trying to get things going so you dont die which thankfully during my time playing I didn’t lose any colonists unlike other games ive played.

The game is visually pleasing the graphics are nice for the type of game it is and colors are not over bearing or bright there just the right tone which for a game your gonna spend hours looking at is a relief, my favorite aspect is watching the colonists work and build as they survive in this harsh new world.

Now the game also has random events right now the only one working is dust storms and let me tell you the level of detail to these storms is amazing blanketing everything in dust and cutting your power since clouds cover the sun its amazing and I cant wait tonsee what’s next.

I managed to reach 25 in game days with no issues or bugs no glitches the demo is very nicely polished.

I spent a few hours with the demo and I gotta say I enjoyed every minute I got lost playing and didnt wanna stop I cant wait to see what the devs have in store for the game I look forward to this game reaching launch and 1.0 readiness so everyone keep your eyes out this game will launch on steam so wishlist it now thank you all for stopping by take care and game on.

Adaptory

Hey guys today I wanna talk to you about Adaptory but first huge thanks to Stormcloak games and indie.io for sending me a copy its greatly appreciated.

Now i love colony sim games ive played a bunch over my years but ive never played one as punishing as Adaptory. This game is clearly inspired by oxygen not included even tho i never played it im sure its easier then this.

So the game opens up with you picking the first 4 people which im assuming you get more as you progress you load in and you crash land on an alien planet your ship is a mess and you gotta move quick as oxygen is running out. Now thankfully there’s a bit of a tutorial that shows you the basics and what to do and thankfully the tutorial stays there for every run which is a huge plus for me but it does lack some info with issues ive encountered during my run more on that later.

So you start digging underground getting materials to start building and thankfully the main material is dirt as you build everything from dirt dont ask me how you get metal from dirty but you do now as your people are building there living against time the oxygen bar is small and runs out quick sadly it recovers slowly which im guessing is there way of getting as close as possible to realism.

Soon your tasked with building a research desk to unlock power and other important things thankfully all material needs again are simple just dirt which I like as it keeps some stress off during early stages but your in space how do you get power theres 2 options solar panels and a small coal plant you can use both well actually your forced to use both as solar panels dont really produce enough energy as for the coal plant as long as you have coal your golden which you find while digging underground.

The game offers special views to monitor the oxygen and power grids but honestly it doesn’t show much in my opinion just an overlay of where stuff is.

Now ive played a few hours into this game over 15 runs and every single time I end up losing to all my idiots dying, yes I called them idiots cause honestly they are they will mope around outside in the void of space sometimes not moving and dying because they couldn’t be assed to move to safety. By best run thanks to RNGesus I was able to get water pumps and oxygen generators going but then what even using the over lay you see where the oxygen is at but it barely moves or expands this is were my mood starts going sour.

Even with a tutorial after maybe 5 minutes the game just stops it doesn’t expand on oxygen generators or water pumps after you unlock them and build it doesn’t tell you or show you how to fully utilize stuff to get the maximum benefit and fine I get it the devs want you to figure shit out but if your not giving players an actual tutorial run people will get frustrated and quit and I did after over 23 runs of just dying over and over I gave up even with everything I learned it still wasnt enough my biggest gripe is at one point a warning icon pops up saying cant operate due to pressure ok how do I fix it where is the info and the game gives you nothing what in the actual fuck am I supposed to magically know what to do no its the devs job during tutorial to show players everything and they cant even be assed to give a proper tutorial.

All that aside yes the game is fun and if your a fan of builder style games then check this out and if you’ve played oxygen not included then you might have no problems here but clearly this game doesn’t want new players and its sad I really wanna keep playing it but im not gonna risk punching my monitor thanks to how frustrated this game made me.

Thats all for today guys thank you for stopping by take care and game on.

Magic Forge Tycoon

First off huge thank you to Clever Trickster Studios for sending me a review key to check out there game Magic Forge Tycoon its greatly appreciated so let’s jump in and talk about this.

I hope Clever Trickster studios can forgive me on the late review life got busy for me and I wasnt able to get to this sooner.

So this is a tycoon game where you run your own magical forge the tutorial option is available after you design your emblem and name your forge which that alone is a huge fun boost for me nothing like running my family company into the ground with my choices.

So the tutorial starts you off easy you pick a blueprint you wanna work on and off you go. If you’ve played game dev tycoon then you will feel right at home with this system so after you start the build your greeted with a pop up that has 3 sliders these sliders represent the build its style and the way its forged you get 3 pop ups total each with different sliders and yes its a guessing game at first but the more you build the same item over and over the more information you gain from the build unlocking these green bars under the sliders which are your favorite areas meaning these spots guarantee success in your endeavors but they can still be tweaked to get better scores.

Next is the money aspect after all your running a forge you need an income so the sale screen shows you the kingdoms where you can open up stalls for a price gaining a reputation with that kingdom. This aspect is my favorite part of the game you see your able to tell the kingdoms status by hovering over there name you can see there military power and there wealth and trust me more money means more sales at least thats how I see it.

On the world map you see the kingdoms that are available this is also where you gain special missions from them for special gears or regular gear as well you see completing orders gains you coin and reputation but be careful you see on this screen you will see what kingdoms have issues with each other and which ones are at war and sadly you cant help one kingdom without hurting your status with other kingdoms which sucks im nothing but a humble blacksmith trying to carve out a living but life has other plans for me.

The guild tab let’s you buy other blueprints so you can craft other weapons maces and staffs you have a decent variety and I really like that from this game but watch your money as it spends fast sometimes faster then you can earn. The guild tab also has all the upgrade paths for your forge which is awesome as when your on the forge screen you see whatever upgrades you buy happen in real time these small touches definitely make the game more fun knowing my hard work is paying off.

Yes you can lose the game if you spend to long broke the guild shuts you down and sadly I dishonored my family name in my tutorial run and went bankrupt but you live and learn and get better.

All in all this is a fun cozy game and good time killer and tons to figure out and learn and its definitely worth it the game releases early 2026 on steam so keep an eye out for it and add it to your growing collection thank you all for stopping by take care and game on.

Flotsam

First off massive thank you to Pajama Llama games for sending me a copy of the game its greatly appreciated, so let’s get into it.

Flotsam is a city builder on a boat in a world over taken by water, yes you read that right your playing a city builder on the water and at the center of it all is your tug boat I mean let’s be real if you’ve plays airborne kingdom or the wandering village this isnt a far stretch.

So thankfully the game has a tutorial and its really well done it teaches you to move and build as well as how to navigate the map and gives you quest along the way so your not bored its really well done and I enjoyed my time with the tutorial. So my first run or my tutorial run to better put it I played 5.5 hours into it and I managed to do a lot until it all crashed and burned let’s dive into more of the game.

The world is over literally the oceans have risen and your boat is your life line so you travel around in search of materials to use and forage the main one being plastic and wood you see the plastic is used to make what’s called floaters which are basically jugs that wont sink and everything in this game takes plastics which sucks cause in my run there was times I couldn’t find any plastic at all, then there’s wood which you will find floating in the ocean or on little islands where you can cut the trees down and use them to make planks or firewood which sadly both are used alot so the struggle is real so you always gotta think about how to spend your wood as it is very valuable.

Then there’s food I mean let’s be real you just survived the end of the world you gotta eat right so let’s find some food thankfully the food variety is plenty as the first you find is seaweed which is turned into a salad or rope but then you move up to the next tier which is fish and around the world there’s plenty of fish I think there’s 3 different types of fish for you to find and cook. Then there’s the next tier which you find old abandoned super markets and grab food there finally the last tier are the farms where you will find potatoes, corn, wheat and more which I haven’t gotten that far yet. So food is solid lots of great options just gotta find it.

The next problem you’ll encounter is storage and housing which you will need lots of both the houses thankfully help with another aspect of the game.

That aspect Morale every survival has a morale compass basically and the happier they are the more productive there gonna be which there’s a lot to learn with the characters you see they level up but they also have there favorite things to do so its good to make sure you have the right people working in the right spots it helps things go smoother.

Now this is where things started going bad for me I had 9 residents and was working on getting electricity going to make some things easier for my people boy was that a bad idea you see the power grid is very volatile if you dont prepare enough for it you see as your town gets bigger it gets heavier making your main vessel waste electricity faster making it harder to find stuff and progress so you gotta build batteries that help you store more energy but thats not the only problem you see there’s buildings that waste the electricity and they drain it faster then you can make it go figure the game does have a few options to produce energy a bike generator a wood burning generator and oil burner and finally solar panels. But again you gotta know how to balance it so you dont screw yourself over.

This game focuses hugely on production and balance one item feeds into several others and so forth. My next run was much better I had less people so food and water could last longer but with less people production is slower cause you need those people to do everything from gathering to crafting to researching so needing more people is a must but again balance is needed.

My play time isnt a huge amount clocking in just over 12 hours ive come to learn that this city builder really pushes your thinking skills to some im sure it will be a cake walk to others they might crash and burn a few times but not once did I rage quit or get angry at the game I wanted more to keep building and finding stuff to make my characters better and give them the home they so desperately want during these trying times, Flotsam takes a page out of other city builders but keeps it going in an original formula a floating city during the end of the world the games graphics are also very relaxed and colorful nothing to over powering or demanding.

There are a few things I would love to see added maybe a way to make our own plastics also I would love to be able to zoom out more and look at the whole map and not just be limited to a certain area also when your not in the tutorial it feels like you struggle a bit finding people and getting the story going I dont know if thats a user error or if its designed that way.

All in all flotsam is a very solid game and you can easily lose yourself playing it easily sinking hours into it so if your looking for a cozy city builder check out flotsam on steam its worth it thank you for stopping by take care and as always game on.

Geo Political Simulator 2026 Edition

Ive never played a game where even after 2 hours in the tutorial and doing it multiple times that I still couldn’t understand a game until now.

First off I wanna thank Eversim for sending me a copy of the game its greatly appreciated and im sorry that the game was to hard to comprehend.

Geo Political Simulator according to steam is ultra-realistic world simulator, where you play as the head of state or the opposition! Now ive never once in my life played this type of game i love sims and wanted to branch out and try something new so I wanna share my experience with the game.

The first time I booted up I got about 5 minutes into the tutorial before the game crashed on me I should have taken that as a sign that this wasnt gonna be good and I was right. I start over again with the tutorial and at least there’s a tutorial but its way to hands off approach and doesn’t really feel inviting to new players such as myself.

At the bottom of the screen similar to a news channel it tells you what you have to do in steps so there slightly easy to follow then you have an arrow pointing to what you gotta do ok good so far the first I think it was 6 or 7 steps of the tutorial all worked and went off flawless but then you get to a scenario where the nurses go on strike and you must negotiate ok let’s do it after your initial talk you come to a screen where I imagine is to set a budget and again the game craps out on me. The task bar at the bottom displays the same message over and over which I am doing but nothing changes I tried different things stayed on that screen about 10 minutes going back and forth changing everything I could find but to no avail did the tutorial progress at this point im already upset, I still have no idea what the game is about or how to really play it and the tutorial keeps crapping out on me leaving me in a sour mood so I quit back to the main menu and try to just play the game no tutorial and honestly I have no fucking clue what im doing so finally I gave up.

Ive come to terms that this type of game just isnt for me I have nothing against it im sure it has a solid fan base and I would honestly direct you to youtube to maybe find videos from other players but for me thats all between the crashes and tutorial not working properly i cant continue to play this.

Have a great day and game on.
