Port of Jumanah PS5 Review

Hello everyone hows it going today i wanna talk to you about Port of Jumanah but first a huge thank you to Red Dune Games for sending me a copy to check out so lets talk about it.

I was sent Port of Jumanah on the PS5 its a fun game simple and easy to learn very similar to cult of the lamb in certain aspects.

So you play as a young pearl diver by the name of Mansour who’s daily life is diving deep into the oceans finding pearls and moving on until one day a giant black clam rises out of the water and releases some black pearls into the world personally i feel this is a pirates reference you know curse of the black pearl but anyways yes the pearls were cursed and things start changing thus your adventure begins.

The game plays like cult of the lamb in terms that you go from room to room clearing out monsters and making your way through the maze until ypu find the exit room which saves your progression and continues the story for you.
The game offers 3 weapons and 3 gadgets to use during ypur adventures as well as cards with power ups and buffs to help you along the way the game is simple and easy to learn and is definitely a good distraction for players of all types again massive thank ypu to Red Dune Games and thank ypu all take care and game on

1666 Amsterdam

Hello everyone hows it going today i wanna talk to you about 1666 Amsterdam I know what a name but first a massive thank you to Panache Digital Games for sending me a key to explore and sink some time into 1666 so lets talk about it shall we.

I admit i wasnt sure what to expect from this game going in but I must say the devs have crafted a cinematic masterpiece cause in some ways it feels almost like a movie then an actual game everything from visuals to small details just leaves you stunned.

The game follows Noa a collector of magic and follows her journey through 1666 as she journeys to complete her job in order to save the world joined by her cat companion who has there own mystery for you to find out this game does amazing bringing to life the pass of what coulda been depending on your beliefs of course.

I did have some small issues with the game the combat was a bit of a hassle even when I dodged i got hit and you only spam the right trigger nothing else no combat spells that directly affect the target which was a bit of a let down another issue i had was controlling the cat i would sometimes get stuck on areas im allowed to jump to i feel the cat controls could use more polish it felt a bit all over the place.

This game is in early access and the devs themselves have stated early access will be used with help from the community to give better life to the game and i feel thats smart as a dev I feel you miss stuff but players might actually find things that need work and thats what gamers should remember everything good takes time.

iRacing Arcade PS5 Review

Hello everyone hows it going today we talk about iRacing Arcade for the PS5 but first a huge thank you to iRacing for sending me a copy to check out its greatly appreciated.

Before you ask yes I checked out this game a while ago on pc and there were kind enough to send me the ps5 version to check out so lets dive in.

On PS5 the game ran great it was smooth didnt have any issues and honestly its not really a demanding game the colors looked great and the chibi style of race cars always make me smile when I see them.

Now the game has a couple modes story, free race and multi-player now to get back into the feel of the game i went with story mode enjoying the races and kicking some npc butt at every turn I could as part of the story mode you also get to build your facility which offers some power ups for you to use during the races and thats pretty cool.
My biggest gripe with the game remains to be multiplayer so of course instead of making open lobbies you can join and leave you have to make your own lobbies or hope and pray you have a friend doing a lobby now here’s the thing what if your friends dont have this game and you wanna race against other racers guess what you screwed and this is where i feel they drop the ball with the game and that sucks cause its a fun decent game but basically a dead multiplayer unless you have a group of friends that has the game and lets be honest thats probably rare.

Did i enjoy my time with the game absolutely ita fun and a good time killer that could be amazing with some work nothing has really changed from the pc version and im happy about that thank you all for stopping by take care and game on.

Orc Incremental

Hello everyone hows it going today we are talking about one of the most fun auto battler ive played in a long time but first a massive shout out and thank you to Playsaurus for sending me out a key to check out the game lets dive in.

Now whats an auto battler in simple terms the computer controls your faction in battle you get to choose the formation and abilities but the computer does the rest ive played a few of these games but always got bored of them but this is the first one that ive had fun with the whole time i was playing it.

Now the games called Orc Incremental you control and orc army as you fight against the humans in hopes of taking over the world now the game only let’s you do a few things you can upgrade your units, unlock new stores, summon more units to add to your army or my absolute favorite throw fireballs at the humans and trust me they deserve it stingy humans trying to control everything love live our orc brethren.

The game works simple the round starts you kill and survive and earn money to use in the stores for upgrades or get more units or if you lose the round starts over again until you win and move on every 10 levels you encounter a boss which is ment to test how well your set up is doing so far and if your doing enough numbers for damage and trust me I hated the boss battles but I was thankful they were there as they showed me hey you need some work so then what do you do easy you can go back to any previous level you completed and earn more money for upgrades and i did this a few times i would go back to lvl 1 and run through everything just to gain more coins.

But what do you do when thats not enough? Well the game has a mechanic called Dark Rebirth which gives you points to use on permanent upgrades and then its off to war again. The rebirth grid is massive honestly if reminds me of the sphere grid on final fantasy X just massive so you know this game has a lot for you to fight with such a grid.

This game has so much depth that honestly i wish I could control one of the fighters just to get more immersion but being the god of these orcs is enough I cant wait to see what the devs have in store for the game and what units you discover as you progress im exited this game is perfect to just sit back with some friends on discord and talk while your army goes on a warpath thank you for stopping by take care and game on.

PixARK

Hello everyone hows it going today we talk about the new dlc for pixark called terracrypt but first I wanna say a huge thank you to SnailGames USA for sending me a copy of the game and dlc to check out so lets talk about it.

Now ive played a variety of survival games but ive never dabbled in anything related to Ark as ive always heard mixed reactions and didnt have anyone to teach me the ropes so when i got pixark I was hoping to finally get some experience in the ark universe even if it was pixal style.

Now the game starts with an option menu letting you pic where you start either the base game or the DLC that the game has available and this even though it lets you skip right to the dlc I didnt really like that option I prefer to go through the base game until I unlock the dlc but I get it they want people to experience everything right away.

So the dlc starts with a flying ship that suddenly gets blasted out of the sky but your escape pod magically lands you in a safe space and this is where the dlc starts you off you grab your stuff and start talking soon enough your off to the races to get underground as the cobaltstar are waiting to attack and destroy you after you make it underground well let’s just say wow this place is huge.

The underground area is massive exploration for me was tough as im not used to pixel games so I was getting stuck on every block trying to jump up and get to where I needed to go.

The introduction missions felt lacking honestly they didnt do enough explaining for my liking and dont take into account that some people have absolutely no history with the game me being a perfect example.

My biggest annoyance with the game was for some reason hitting the tab button would freeze the game then hitting it again opened up what seemed to be a master control input box so u had to hit it a 3rd time to get the game to work again i cant count how many times i would hit it by accident it really was a mood killer.

The dlc is supposed to add 13 new distinct biomes that require lots of thoughts to progress as well as 11 new bosses for you to fight against as well as new creatures underground to tame and use in your adventure.

The game has a lot to offer and the dlc feels like an absolutely new game with how big it is and everything it offers sadly the game just wasnt for me i couldn’t get into a groove with it and I just wasnt having fun even while learning the ropes.

All that aside the game ran great on my pc I didnt have issues no fps drops or crashes which im sure most people probably expect a disaster at launch and judging from the steam reviews thats what happened just give the devs some time to fix this i wanna thank you all for stopping by take care and game on.

Mortal Shell 2

Mortal Shell 2 is my first traditional souls game in a sense of swords and axes are used as well as some magic but before we talk more of my time with the game I wanna thank both Playstack and Charlotte for sending me a key to check out the game its hugely appreciated.

Now i dont have a lot of time in the game like other creators but what i do has is an approach from a souls noob and thats the perspective ill give you.

Now when I say souls noob I mean noob even though ive played elden ring, dark souls, hollow knight and remnant from the ashes i have yet to claim victory over any of those games now your probably wondering ok why did you jump into mortal shell well i am a sucker for a beautiful game and the concept of shells being your i guess you can say armor really caught my attention.

So the game starts with a back story of what happened so great diety fell to the planet and things were good until they weren’t Now your tasked with retrieving what appear to be some massive alien eggs thats the jist of what I got from the cut scene at the start then the game wakes you and its off to the races.

The whole starting area I wanna say it can be between 30 minutes to an hour depending on your skills and how much exploring you do is the tutorial area I admit i died a lot and i raged quit twice but again I suck at these games so once you pass the tutorial the game sets you on a path through some mountains with the camera doing different view points and i gotta say i love this part in the introduction this area leads you to the keep where you will spend most of the game leveling up and finding shit for and its also the starting point to the maps exploration, here you find a good amount of NPCs to talk to and trust me talk to them they have goodies and info you will need.

Once on the ground you begin and like every souls game stamina plays a massive factor in it and well there’s bosses everywhere there’s one literally right around the corner from the first beacon which if anyone played elden ring right when you come out the elevator you have that massive horse jerk its ptsd all over again man.

I played on PC and even though ive heard of other players having problems in my time spent with the game the only issues I had was the game freezing up on me during combat or entering combat and in a souls game thats a huge issue and not something you wanna have when there’s so much on the line.

The game offers a good variety between the 8 shells you get to play with and a vast amount of weapons you discover in the world there’s something for each play style out there.

Combat was one factor i kept messing up on always attacking and not dodging properly heck I even forgot what the block button was which all this combined with dying a lot lead me to grab the slayer seal and activate easy mode which sadly its not that easy you still need skills and I sadly am lacking.

The game is beautiful the world is worth exploring and its something I did everytime i killed enemies in areas I would look around and check things out.

My experience with mortal shell 2 was honestly interesting and a bit rage inducing I had fun and look forward to updates and future content if the team decides to add more to the game again thank you to Charlotte and Playstack you guys were awesome take care and have a great day and game on.

Hell Let Loose Vietnam

So what is hell let loose its a military sim game focused on realism and playing as a squad working with your team mates to capture objectives and this iteration takes us to the jungles of vietnam but first a huge thank you to Team 17 for sending me a copy its greatly appreciated so let’s talk about it a bit.

Now as an avid FPS gamer most of my games have been battlefield with a dab in counter strike and rainbow 6 siege I did try the original hell let loose but since I didnt have people to play with it was difficult for me to learn the game so when I got sent vietnam I said let’s give it another go and these are my thoughts.

First off i know im blind as fuck but how can the enemy team see me from hundreds of meters away kill me instantly when im still in a city I get it they want realism but its insane when you cant even tell where the enemy is or where your getting shot from I know I know realism. Yes I suck I admit that and even with taking my time and trying to learn the games vibes I was getting my ass handed to me and im sorry but I play games for fun not to be pissed off if I wanna rage and quit ill go play a souls game.

The game does have an extensive tutorial which helps out players like me who are complete noobs but it doesnt give you better eyes sadly so your stuck suffering.

The few games I played i did get lucky with a few kills but I was mostly dying past the point of frustration I can definitely say hell let loose vietnam is not for me but for fans of military Sims please give it a chance you might have better luck then me.

Graphics wise everything looks amazing for a game and im surprised how well the game performs and runs with so many players on the field at once the devs behind this truly know what there doing.

All in all if you want realism here you go the game is solid but definitely not for me i appreciate the devs hooking me up with a copy theres a road map on there steam page thank you all for stopping by take care and game on

Swordcery

What do you get when you take swords you add more swords then even more swords and multiply that by a billion you get swordcery the ultimate sword rougelite adventure but first i wanna give a huge thank you to Temple Door Games for sending me a copy to check out its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in.

Swordcery is an action rougelite with a heavy focus on swords of all styles shorts swords great swords duel swords rapiers and so on this game is the borderlands of swords and the name fits when you start discovering just how many swords you get to find and use during your runs.

So whats this game about well a giant sword drops out of the sky impaling itself into a mountain and then the world itself cause a catastrophic event and then the game begins.

So the game uses procedural generation for its world’s so not every forest level you start with is the same and trust me ive started out with quite a few since you know you die a lot each level is broken down into rooms that you clear and then choose a path to proceed each room has a different reward some offer relics others coins my favorite are the sword rooms cause you dont know what awesome sword you will get or what rarity as well.

Each level ends when you beat the boss and so far the forest boss is a hard fucker indeed as his attacks hit hard compare to the damage you do think dark souls but top down style.

Now this is a pc game but thankfully it lets you play with a controller which I highly recommend you use one since its easier to play with one in my opinion as the mouse and keyboard felt a bit complicated for my taste.

The game is fun it reminds me of games like returnal in the sense where you get one life and gotta complete the game in one life this adds a big challenge but eventually you do unlock and discover other stuff that helps you along the way i made it almost to the 4th world before i died but the swords I got to use the enemies I faced and the levels I visited all were amazing and so well done these devs really made an amazing game and i cant wait to see what gets added to the game down the road.

Swordcery is available on steam for 17.99 its not a demanding game so plenty of people will get to play it, again thank you to Temple Door Games for sending me a copy its greatly appreciated have a great day and game on.

Box Knight

What happens when your 9 to 5 finally sucks your soul out and leaves u a husk of your former self transforming you into a monster meant to slave away till the end of time well thats Box Knight and its insane fight against corporate corruption but first i wanna send a huge thank you to We Made A Thing Studios for sending me a copy its greatly appreciated so let’s talk about Box Knight.

So your corporate job has fallen taken over and transformed by the evil corruption and its up to you the Box Knight to bring balance to work again so get ready to journey across different levels fighting an insane variety of monsters and some bosses that would make Sauron proud.

First off this game literally looks like lord of the rings was a inspiration for all the low level goblins and all there abilities and tactics they use but thats just my opinion but the game does have a big variety of monsters and I love that everytime you meet a new mob a screen pops up telling you about them what they do and how to combat them sorta like a pokedex but for monsters and i think thats cool as hell and love that feature of the game.

So as I said every monster has its own gimmick I guess one mob I encountered that I instantly hated was the supervisors they summon more monsters to fight for them and are a bit of a pain since they fly so you gotta jump and butt stomp in there area to knock em down so you can kill them another one was the healer goblin I hated him so much he heals the strongest monster in the area making fights harder for you.

The bosses are honestly some of the best fights ive had in an action rougelite each having different combat styles as well as different powers each boss definitely made me think twice during the fight.

The game also has armor and weapons that you can unlock with in game currency theres helmets and the body armor each having there own stats that you can mix and match as well theres also 3 weapons for now but im sure more will be added i would love an axe or duel wield I think it would be pretty bad ass to do.

Theres also an upgrade area which focuses on your stats which is also very helpful when battles are intense.

The battles themselves aren’t so bad but can get hard with certain monsters you gotta survive 3 waves and kill everyone while monsters keep spawning until your done there’s also other office workers you gotta save which can give you xp boost or health potions.

All in all Box Knight is a blast and taking on corporate corruption is a blast i cant wait to see what the team adds to the game but i for one will be enjoying my time with box knight and cant wait to see whats in store for the game thank you for stopping by take care and game on.

Ground Zero Hero

So what do you get when you mix vampire survivors with Rick and Morty you get one hell of a chaotic combination and thats Ground Zero Hero thats what we are talking about today but first off i wanna say a huge thank you to Acclaim and Rowan Edmondson for sending me a copy of the game to check out its greatly appreciated so let’s dive in.

As you know im a huge rougelite fan Vampire survivors started such a fun genre and everytime a new game comes out in it I try my best to get a copy and cover it so when Ground Zero Hero hit my radar I knew i wanted to try it out and see what spin on the formula they did.

So you start out with the first level everything else is unlocked the goal of each level is to kill 9,999 monsters and then you have to kill a boss for a total of 10k monsters is that a lot absolutely and I admit i got my ass handed to me plenty of times but each defeat makes you stronger as you unlock new powers and if you have the coins you can upgrade certain stats like health, crit and so forth so I failed about 5 times i think it was until I finally got a decent build going now if you have played any rougelite you know after a while the enemies are multiple and swarm you fast so this game offers a day and night cycle now you can brave the night and fight taking on stronger enemies or you can find a bunker and sleep the night away and it resets the field for a bit but whatever items you didnt grab before you went to sleep you lose immediately which is part of the reset. Now as you level up you can unlock a new power but on later levels it slows down as you need more and more xp so from all the power ups I noticed there was no xp power up just the basic powers at different levels as well as speed, power and attack speed.

So far each level plays the same 10k monsters survive and move to the next im stuck on a level as the monsters hit harder and none of the combinations im doing seem to help me out but that isnt stopping me from having a good time and honestly that was a worry of mine could I have a good time while having to kill so many monsters and for me that answer was yes I was still having fun the levels offer monster diversity as well as random events happen that make them even more funnier my favorite is when you set off a nuke it explodes and an alien pops up looking like wtf is going on theres also random power ups like riding a cow and plowing through enemies until it explodes theres also piñatas around the map that help keep you going by giving you health and candy which you need.

Later levels does increase in difficulty but that just adds to the challenges and makes the game more fun all in all Ground Hero Zero has been amazing its a blast and I for one am looking forward to how they keep the game growing thank you all for stopping by take care and game on.
